Tauride Palace located near Smolny Convent, Smolny Institute, 15 min drive from the Hermitage Museum and center of the city, Nevsky Avenue. Entry is from Schpalernaya Street.
Since it is the official state organization – the special permission is needed to enter the building.
The Taurida Palace was built in 1789 on the order of Catherine the Great for her favorite Prince Gregory Potemkin (The conqueror of Taurida). Since then, it was reconstructed several times and in the period from 1906 to 1917 the State Duma was located there. Nowadays the official governmental organization is working in the building – the Interparlement Assembly of CIS.
The Palace has the Congress Hall with the capacity of 800 people, shaped like amphitheater, and the main Column Hall designed in classical style. It can be suggested for the Gala dinner for up to 1200 people.

Cats Take Up Residence at the Hermitage Museum
Why do housecats roam the halls of the Hermitage?
And why did they disappear during World War Two?
Since the era of Catherine the Great, the Hermitage has been home to hundreds of house cats. They earn their keep by keeping the museum vermin free. Today, the cats are fed and cared for by dedicated volunteers. But there was one brief period in Hermitage history when cats were nowhere to be found. This was during the Second World War when St. Petersburg, then known as Leningrad, was under siege by the Nazis. The Hermitage was under siege too -- marked for destruction by Adolf Hitler. As the staff of the Hermitage crafted a plan to save the museum's masterpieces, the housecats disappeared one by one.

Military vehicles dating back to the World War II were put on display in Saint Petersburg. Lorries, air defense guns and tanks were rolled to Palace square. The original vehicles have been fully restored. The exhibition is dedicated to the anniversary of the Siege of Leningrad.

Beggrov Mansion - NEW Venue in St. Petersburg, Russia
Recently rennovated Beggrov's mansion with the unic view to Nevskiy prospect is finally opened for the guests!
At first the building belonged to the artist Mr.Beggrov, then since 1895 and up to 2000 one of the largest Russian banks had operated here. By 1917 it was ranked first bank in Russia with the largest number of assets, loans, deposits and accounts.

Naryshkin-Trubetskoy Mansion is new and fully equipped venue located at old rich in history mansion.
The mansion was purchased in 1875 by Duke Vasily Naryshkin, whose family included Nataliya Naryshkina, the second wife of Czar Alexis and the mother of Peter the Great. The mansion, in Tchaikovsky Street, had been put together by connecting two 18th century houses, one of which belonged to Pushkin’s African grandfather Abram Gannibal. After the Bolsheviks nationalised private property, part of the mansion was turned into a stolovaya, a canteen-like restaurant serving utilitarian meals, according to Russian news reports. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, the building housed apartment, became private apartments, then was purchased by Intarsia to be turned into a conference and cultural center.
Mansion became famous when Tsarist-Era Treasures were Found during restoration in 2014

Hair-raising! Girls rescue scaredy cat from busy Saint Petersburg highway
A group of girls from a Saint Petersburg college rescued a terrified kitten from one of city’s busy highways on September 16th.
Having seen the distressed kitten running along the road, one of the girls leapt over the barrier and rushed to the kitten’s aid. A passing ambulance, which was not on call at the time, and trolleybus stopped in the road to clear the lane. After several minutes, the girls managed to coax the poor creature out from under the ambulance and carry it to safety.
The kitten was adopted by one of its rescuers.

Recently rennovated Beggrov's mansion with the unic view to Nevskiy prospect is finally opened for the guests!
At first the building belonged to the artist Mr.Beggrov, then since 1895 and up to 2000 one of the largest Russian banks had operated here. By 1917 it was ranked first bank in Russia with the largest number of assets, loans, deposits and accounts.
There are two floors and beautiful galleriies inside.

Osipova Ballet Saint Petersburg is the result of an encounter between a Russian Choreographer and a French film director. This young company was Born in june, 2009 and was Inspired by the success of the Marinsky Ballet and Bolshoi Theatre and of course the notoriety of Russian ballets in general. Russian ballets distinguish themselves by their superior productions which tell traditional stories as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and the Nutcracker. As for any ballet company the creation of the Osipova Ballet Saint Petersburg was full of melodrama and emotion, with no financial assistance, managing a staff of 50 People, as well as caring for a cast of dancers. Natalia Osipova and Alain Hébert with great tenacity achieved their goal in creating this company, a repertoire whose first tour in June 2009 was unanimously well greeted by the public in France and Belgium with a version of Don Quixote re visited by Natalia Osipova. Natalia's choreography, combined with elegant costumes inspired a special enthusiasm with applause and recalls in every room. A profound thanks to the production company Advantage Studio which supported the creation of the first show, Osipova Ballet St Petersburg proved itself capable to the promotion of classical ballet and the artists who participate in the energy of this artistic discipline.
