Salzburg (UNESCO) - Old Town in 4K Austria
W obecnym filmie oglądamy dalsze ciekawe miejsca lewobrzeżnego Salzburga, ale też przechodzimy w rejon katedry, aby zobaczyć go z innej perspektywy.

SALZBURG - Day Trip
Salzburg is an Austrian city on the border of Germany, with views of the Eastern Alps. The city is divided by the Salzach River, with medieval and baroque buildings of the pedestrian Altstadt (Old City) on its left bank, facing the 19th-century Neustadt (New City) on its right. The Altstadt birthplace of famed composer Mozart is preserved as a museum displaying his childhood instruments.
The 4th largest city in Austria and a wonderful one it is, plenty of museums and of course the birth of Mozart and Mozartkugel.
A short video of mine might help you in deciding what to visit in Austria and to purchase tickets, see links below.

TRIP TO SALZBURG - AUSTRIA
Salzburg (help·info) (Austro-Bavarian: Såizburg; literally: Salt Castle) is the fourth-largest city in Austria and the capital city of the federal state of Salzburg.
Salzburg's Old Town (Altstadt) has internationally renowned baroque architecture and one of the best-preserved city centres north of the Alps. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The city is noted for its Alpine setting.
Salzburg was the birthplace of 18th-century composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In the mid-20th century, the city was the setting for parts of the American musical and film The Sound of Music, which features famous landmarks in Austria. The musical was a partnership between Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.
The capital city of the State of Salzburg (Land Salzburg), the city has three universities. It has a large population of students who add liveliness and energy to the area, and the universities provide culture to the community.
Photos and videos were taken with a Nikon COOLPIX P100, not the newer Nikon COOLPIX P500. But performance and features should be almost identical.

Getreidegasse (also known as Grain Lane) is a busy shopping street in the Old-Town section of Salzburg. The house at no. 9 Getreidegasse is the place where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born and where he lived until the age of 17. Originally called Trabegasse (derived from traben to trot), its name was changed several times before it became the Grain Lane.
The Mirabell Palace (German: Schloss Mirabell) is a historical building in Salzburg, Salzburgerland, Austria.
It was built in the Baroque style, with Italian and French models, by Archbishop Wolf Dietrich Raitenau in 1606. In its geometrically-arranged gardens are mythology-themed statues dating from 1730 and four groups of sculpture (Eneas, Hercules, Paris and Pluton) by the Italian sculptor Ottavio Mosto, from 1690. It is noted for its boxwood layouts.
Salzburg is a tourist favourite, with the number of tourists outnumbering locals by a large margin in peak times. In addition to Mozart's birthplace noted above, other notable places include:
Old Town
The entire Old Town of Salzburg was nominated as a World Heritage Site in 1996.

Salzburg Fortress Hohensalzburg
Salzburg Fortress: Salzburg’s most important attraction is castle on the hill…You do not want to miss a visit to this citadel, which is claimed to be the largest and best-preserved medieval castle in Europe. It is not enough to just simply look at it from down below -- you need to go up and walk through the grounds, and perhaps pay the admission to visit inside on a guided tour. Called the Hohensalzburg Fortress, this castle is so big that it feels like you are walking through a medieval village -- one of those spectacular old walled towns, with courtyards, neighborhoods and different types of buildings scattered about. The existing castle was begun in the 11th century and still retains this feeling of the ages. It was originally built as a refuge for the archbishops who sided with the Pope in church battles against the princes of South Germany. These archbishops ruled Salzburg for 1,000 years, using the tremendous wealth they mined from the salt deposits to build a city unlike any other, full of churches, palaces and mansions by the best designers and builders of each era. The castle was frequently enlarged and remodeled, becoming a comfortable residence for the bishops and their court. Construction finally was finished by the end of the 17th century, with the addition of towers, staterooms, bastions for cannons and barbicans, and the construction of magazines and arms depots. All together, the complex we see today took six hundred years to build. You can see exhibits about the various archbishops and the history of the region inside the castle museum, which also has plans and prints showing the growth of Salzburg, and a military museum with suits of armor and ancient weapons. Inside you will also see the intricate Gothic wood-carvings and ornamental paintings that decorate the Golden Hall and the Golden Chamber. Many evenings there are chamber music concerts here that take advantage of the excellent acoustics and small size of the Princess Room.

Spend a day with Mozart in Vienna, the city of music
Where did Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart marry the love of his life, Constanze Weber, in 1782? During the happiest time of their lives in Vienna, where did they live? Which masterpiece was created in Domgasse, a street in Vienna?
Let’s follow the footsteps of these young lovers living in the musical city of Vienna. Take a journey to historical settings as well as private locations, which all bear witness of the bygone Viennese Classical period. Mozart composed his most famous pieces of music here in Vienna, including the world-famous opera, “The Marriage of Figaro”.
Mozart composed incessantly. He wrote hundreds of works including symphonies, songs, sonatas and piano concertos. The “Mozarts” were financially very well off. They could afford to rent a flat for 460 guilders a year, a lot of money in those days. Located right in the middle of Vienna’s old city, the flat lies directly behind St. Stephen’s Cathedral. From all the places where Mozart lived during his life in Vienna, this is the only one that has been well-preserved and is, in fact, a museum today: Mozarthaus Vienna, Domgasse 5.
