Mt. Marami Silyang Bato Dayhike - Maragondon, Cavite
Weekend hike to Mt. Marami. Unexpectedly lengthy (around 21km) to hike to the summit! The heat of the sun was been compensated by river crossings and fresh mountain breeze. After all this, you'll be rewarded by the view of the pillars called Silyang-Bato, a cascade of walls from an ancient stratovolcano, with the 360 view of Mt. Pico De Loro, Maculot, Talamitam and Batulao from a far! Truely a worthwhile hike if you are up for the challenge!

The Aguinaldo Shrine Comes to Life!
More than one hundred years ago, the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines was a witness to one of the most crucial junctures in Philippine history—the declaration of a free Filipino nation. This national heritage site is a living reminder of the freedom that the Filipino people fought and longed for, and the monument of the successes that the country has achieved since then.
And in celebration of 117 years of Philippine Independence, a spectacular video-mapping show was projected on the Aguinaldo Shrine to retell the history of the Filipino people, from the arrival of Magellan to Philippine shores in 1521 to the liberation of the Filipino people in 1898. The show was on a special run from June 11 to 15, 2015.
The video mapping of the Aguinaldo Shrine is a project of the Philippine Department of Tourism through the initiative of the LGU of Kawit, Cavite and implemented by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) and OptimumShow Philippines, Inc.
The project is also supported by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP).

SUMMARY
=======
Cavite (Filipino: Lalawigan ng Kabite; Tagalog pronunciation: [ˈkäbite̞], [käˈbiːte̞] or [käˈbitɛː]; Chabacano: Provincia de Cavite) is a province in the Philippines located on the southern shores of Manila Bay in the Calabarzon region on Luzon island. Situated just 21-kilometre (13 mi) south of the capital, it is one of the most industrialised and fastest growing provinces because of its close proximity to Metro Manila. With a population of 3,678,301 in 2015, it is the most populated province in the country.
For over 300 years, the province played an important role in both the country's colonial past and eventual fight for independence, earning it the title Historical Capital of the Philippines. It became the cradle of the Philippine Revolution, which led to the renouncement of Spanish colonial control, finally culminating in the Philippine Declaration of Independence on June 12, 1898 in Kawit, Cavite. The old provincial capital, Cavite City also hosted docks for the Manila galleon, becoming an essential part of commerce between Asia and Latin America.
