Visited the Gaueun Movie Set and the Coal Mine Museum
Gaeun Filming Set
Gaeun Filming Set includes reproductions of houses and fortresses of the Goguryeo Period based upon historical documents and meticulous research. Naturally, buildings are designed using flashy colors, which were typically found in tomb murals during the Goguryeo Period. Filmed in this set are popular soap operas such as Yeon Gaesomun, Hong Gil Dong, Dae Wang Sejong, and Iljimae.

- Consists of palaces and villages of the Goguryeo Period and Silla Period, and Pyongyang Fortress (the palace of the Goguryeo Period is followed by that of the Silla Period; reproduced houses include those of famous historical figures Kim Yu-Sin, Kim Chun-chu, and Yeon Tae-jo)
2) No. 2 Set
- Consists of Ansi Fortress and the village within the fortress (the opening battle of the soap opera, Yeon Gaesomun was filmed here)
3) No. 3 Set
- Consists of Liaotung Fortress and the village within the fortress (there are contemporary government buildings and a market selling herbs and liquor just inside the fortress)

국내 첫 복합생태 영상테마파크 '문경에코랄라'가 오는 7월 문을 엽니다.
문경시는 어제(26일) 문경시청에서 포티스 컨소시엄과 문경에코랄라 운영에 관한 협약을 체결하고 본격적인 개장 준비에 들어갔습니다.
1천119억원을 들여 문경시 가은읍에 조성하는 문경에코랄라는 백두대간의 생태자원과 영상문화 콘텐츠를 결합한 테마파크로 녹색문화체험관, 야외체험시설, 문경석탄박물관, 가은 오픈세트장 등으로 구성됐습니다.
고윤환 문경시장은 문경에코랄라는 문경이 자랑하는 천혜의 자연 뿐 아니라 영상과 역사를 체험할 수 있는 전국 최초의 복합 생태 영상테마파크라며 다가오는 7월 공식 개장과 함께 다채로운 이벤트를 준비했다고 밝혔습니다.

The Forge Kiln - Queenstown New Brunswick
This is my friend's Yolande and Lee Clark's huge wood-fired kiln that I helped build. I came down one night to help fire it while the exhausted potters slept for a few hours. It was a real pleasure to get to feed this giant fire moster and make shoot flames out of the vent holes. This kiln needs constant attention and has to be stoked every 10 mins. No sleep for days and days. Thanks for letting me be a part of this amazing experience.
