Thank you to Visit Copenhagen:
During our 2 week trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, we rented an apartment in a local area of the city. It was a fantastic area, a quiet and friendly neighborhood, but just a short distance from downtown Copenhagen. In this video, I’m going to give you a full video of our apartment in Copenhagen.
Vesterbro - When I mentioned we were staying in Vesterbro to many locals in Copenhagen, many mentioned that they loved the area, and that it was one of their favorite neighborhoods in Copenhagen. And I figured out why pretty quickly - the area is quiet and peaceful, yet not far from downtown, it has a nice friendly feel to it, and there are many great restaurants, cafes, and shops in the area. I would highly recommend Vesterbro when you visit or live in Copenhagen, I loved the area.
Total price - The price to rent this apartment on a short term basis like we did, was $189 per night, which came with two bedrooms, and a full house. It’s still not cheap, but when you compare it to a hotel room in Copenhagen, it’s much more affordable and you get much more space.
Thank you for watching living in Denmark, apartment tour in Copenhagen!

Head chef Rasmus Munk serves his guests a 45-course long tasting menu with drink pairings (the only option there is), highly inspired by Japan and Sout-East Asia, and he's not afraid to use odd animal parts like cow's udder, raw lamb heart, lamb brain, and chicken feet. Jonathan Monk Interview: An Original Twist
“I’m sure even the cavemen copied the drawings of the guys from the next village and changed them a little bit.” Hear British conceptual artist Jonathan Monk’s view on the idea of originality: “Just embrace that you’re not. Or twist it so you can be.”
Jonathan Monk often applies the method of appropriation in his work, using other artists’ works as a jumping-off point to create new art of his own. The conceptual, he explains in this interview, partly grew out of necessity: as a young, penniless artist he had to develop other means of making art. “We didn’t have money to make things, so you’d take a few ideas with you and fabricate them wherever you were,” he explains. “Artists use material and whether that material exists as an idea or is in a tube of paint – you move with what you’ve got and try to change it into something you can call your own.”
Jonathan Monk (b. 1969) is a British conceptual artist who was born in Leicester in 1969 and lives and works in Berlin and Glasgow. His work has been shown at Palais de Tokyo and Musee d’Art Moderne, Paris, France, the Institute of Contemporary Art, London, UK, the Whitney Biennial (2006) and the 50th and 53rd Venice Biennales and elsewhere. He is the recipient of the 2012 Prix du Quartier Des Bains and his work is held in the collections of Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Sweden, SMK, Copenhagen, Denmark, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, USA and the Tate Collection, London, UK.
Jonathan Monk was interviewed by Kasper Bech Dyg at Galleri Nicolai Wallner in Copenhagen, Denmark in November 2016.

Copenhagen, Denmark: What We Did in One Day (Travel Vlog) | Mikey Dunn
Stop 1 on our Baltic Sea cruise was Copenhagen, Denmark! In this video, we visited some popular destinations by bus before we boarded our cruise ship.
Our cruise ship – the Norwegian Getaway – was scheduled to depart Copenhagen, so our travel group decided to arrive a night early so we could take a tour of the city before leaving. We stayed at the Copenhagen Island Hotel, which was very modern and nautical! My brother and I will give you a hilarious tour of our room to start.
The next day, our Filipino tour group packed up, ate breakfast, and boarded the bus. We first stopped at the Little Mermaid statue followed by the Rosenborg Castle. Then we drove to the waterfront to St. Alban's Church, which is home to the famous Gefion Fountain. Then we visited Nyhavn, which had to be my favorite stop on our tour. Lastly, we ended our tour at Amalienborg Palace, home of the Danish royal family, to see Changing of the Guard Ceremony.
Then we drove to the port, and proceeded to board our cruise ship! This was our first time on a cruise and our first time in Europe, so we were pretty excited. But I wasn't excited about having an inside cabin without any windows, so without my parents and brother knowing, I upgraded us to a balcony room. (Yes, I paid for the upgrade.)

Restaurant Alchemist - a holistic dining experience in Copenhagen
The gastronomy scene in Copenhagen is ever-evolving, and Alchemist who opened its 10 square meter bronze doors to a “holistic cuisine” experience in the summer of 2019 is currently the star of the show. The combination of their 50 “impressions” menu and the restaurant space’s jaw-dropping interior is talk of the town right now and aims to manifest Copenhagen as a world-class foodie destination.
A visit to Alchemist is far from your typical dining experience. Guests venture on a journey in a physical space designed to make an impression for all senses. This is part of the holistic dining experience. Besides, the food served will evoke taste buds and thoughts on the world alike with dishes that comment on the world surrounding us. On the menu you can find dishes like “Plastic fantastic” and a lamb’s brain in cherry named “think outside the box” as a comment to modern-day food waste.
The mind-boggling restaurant space is located in a massive industrial building in Copenhagen’s rustic, up-and-coming Refshaleøen area. Here, Chef Rasmus Munk works to redefine and broaden your understanding of dining.
