The Museum Of Death Is Filled With Lively Exhibits -- If You Don't Faint
It's more about education and not about scaring people. But if you go to the Museum of Death in Hollywood, be prepared to be a little creeped out. Just cause. Stephanie Simmons reports.
VISITING THE MUSEUM OF DEATH IN HOLLYWOOD!!
Three weeks ago Lara and her family flew out to Los Angeles to travel around different landmarks in America. We decided it'd be a cool idea if she were to record her entire journey for you guys to watch. Travel with Lara to places like the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Alcatraz Prison in San Fransisco and even watch her two day overnight investigation on The Queen Mary Ship, one of the most haunted locations in the United States.
Make sure to subscribe if you want to see more content like this as we've got more videos like this coming out soon. Keep an eye out this monday as we'll be posting the second vlog of Lara's American Tour. Also give a like if you prefer these videos to our other videos as we decided we needed a change from the usual Urbex theme.

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM LOS ANGELES (WALKTHROUGH & REVIEW)
Against all odds, we were able to get tickets to the extremely popular Museum of Ice Cream. We went on opening day this past weekend and were one of the first people in LA to see the 10 amazing installations/interactive experiences. Touted as being 4x bigger than the New York one, this sold out exhibit blew my mind and made me pick up the pieces.

Psychiatry: An Industry of Death (FULL VERSION)
Full credit for this video goes to CCHR. I have no connection with Scientology, religious or otherwise. I am however a former victim of criminal psychiatric practices. When I stumbled upon a museum in Hollywood California named: Psychiatry, An industry of death, I was of course very intrigued. The staff were very patient and helpful. They were eager to answer any questions people had. When I found out that thorozine could be one of the causes for my tourette's syndrome I could feel the anger rising inside of me. Thinking back to the mental hospitals I was forced to stay in. I was locked in my room on a 24 hour a day basis and if I said or did anything that could possibly be taken as less then submissive and obedient I was taken to the seclusion room (which is kind of fucked seeing as how I was in 24 hour a day seclusion anyways) and put in 4 point restraints, injected with liquid thorozine directly into my neck. When I was allowed passes to go home for the day with my mom, I was too tired to do anything with my family, I just wanted to sit in the chair and sleep, I remember thinking what is the point of being ALLOWED to come home for the day if I am just going to sit here sleeping? I can do this just as well back at the hospital. When I went back that night I told the nurses that I wanted different medication, this started the chemical cocktail experience that would be my life for more than another YEAR.
Are there people that have benefitted from psychiatric medicines? Well I'm sure there are. .
The people that were forced into these criminal hands had no choice for the most part. Their human right were stripped from them so a very small group of people could make more money than most people can even conceive of.

Serial Killer Secrets: Inside the Museum of Death with JD Healy & Cathee Shultz
Serial killer secrets--from the fetishes of Richard Ramirez, to the art dealings of John Wayne Gacy--and the wonderful world of the macabre and deceased are shared by Museum of Death founders JD Healy and Cathee Shultz. Learn about the smell of dead bodies, how to shrink a head, go inside the Heaven’s Gate cult, and explore death in pop culture. We get a good understanding of why death is something to smile at in the face of, and give a nod to Jack Kevorkian’s creative side in this Halloween episode of Antidote, hosted by Michael Parker.
GUEST BIO:
The World Famous Museum of Death was founded in June, 1995, originally located in San Diego's 1st mortuary in a building once owned by Wyatt Earp. Evolving from the controversial art gallery the Rita Dean, founders JD Healy and Cathee Shultz realized the void in the death education in this country and decided to make death their life's work.
Reopened in Hollywood, California, the Museum of Death houses the world's largest collection of serial murderer artwork, photos of the Charles Manson crime scenes, the guillotined severed head of the Blue Beard of Paris (Henri Landru), original crime scene and morgue photos from the grisly Black Dahlia murder, a body bag and coffin collection, replicas of full size execution devices, mortician and autopsy instruments, pet death taxidermy, and so much more!

A Walk Through The Museum of Tolerance, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles
The original museum in Los Angeles, California opened in 1993, built at a cost of $50 million by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, named after Simon Wiesenthal, Holocaust survivor. The museum receives 350,000 visitors annually, about a third of which are school-age children. The museum's most talked-about exhibit is The Holocaust Section, where visitors are divided into groups to take their own place in some of the events of World War II. These experiences are then discussed afterwards. The museum also features testimonies of Holocaust survivors, often from live volunteers who tell their stories and answer questions. People also get cards with pictures of Jewish children on them and at the end of the museum trip, it is revealed whether the child on the card survived or died in the Holocaust.
Protesting L.A. museum expansion
In addition, the museum features a Tolerancenter that discusses issues of prejudice in everyday life, a Multimedia Learning Center, Finding Our Families – Finding Ourselves, a collection of archives and documents, various temporary exhibits such as Los Angeles visual artist Bill Cormalis Jr's A Game In The B Leagues, which documents through paintings, the Civil Rights movement during the segregation of colored people in Major League Baseball, and an Arts and Lectures Program.
