WE FOUND AN ABANDONED SOVIET MILITARY BARRACKS IN RUSSIA
In this Episode of our Adventure along the Trans-Siberian Railway in Russia, we arrive in Vladivostok in Primorsky Krai after 80 hours on the train from Ulan-Ude, and head out into the deep green wilderness.
Here, we meet some friends and explore Russia's beautiful landscape. While doing so, we encountered an abandoned military barracks. I had heard a lot about the abandoned Soviet Military Bases in eastern Europe, and even went urban exploring a military bunker once, but nothing like this.
After we returned to the camp, and caught fresh seafood with our hands, made a pasta, and drank around a campfire. The perfect day.
A bit of a background story. This is a train journey of 10,000 km across Russia, the biggest country in the world. 25 days to visit Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Ulan-Ude, and Vladivostok.

1. 울란우데는 하바롭스크보다 확실히 더 추웠습니다. 눈도 조금씩 왔구요.
2. 제가 묶었던 클린 호스텔에서 'Becky'라는 영국인 친구를 만날 수 있어서 참 좋았습니다. 같이 저녁을 만들어 먹기도 했고 오늘은 어떤 여행지를 갔다왔는지 이야기를 나누기도했습니다. 정말 다정다감하고 친절한 친구였습니다.
3. 레닌 머리 동상에서 엽사를 찍을때 한 커플이 도와주셨습니다. 날씨가 추웠음에도 제대로된 사진이 나올때까지 정성스레 찍어주셨습니다.(생각해보면 21일날 만났던 사람들 모두 친절했던것 같습니다. 박물관 길을 알려준 학생, 친절히 박물관 입장료를 알려준 직원, 레닌 머리 동상에서 엽사를 찍게끔 도와준 커플, 베키)
4. 레닌 머리 동상에서 사진을 찍을 때 정말 부끄러움을 무릎쓰고 사진을 찍었습니다... 정작 지나가는 사람들은 그냥 한번 보고 지나가거나 별 생각없었을텐데 저 혼자 괜히 신경이 쓰여서... 계속 이런식으로해서는 추억할만한 사진이나 영상을 남기지 못할 것 같다는 생각을 했습니다. 조금 더 얼굴에 철판을 깔아야할 것 같습니다.
5. 영상에서 보신 닷산사원의 다양한 색깔의 천이 묶어져있는 통로는 시계방향으로 돌아야한다고합니다.

타르바가타이 마을은 러시아 정교에 불복했던 카톨릭 교도들이 집단 유배돼서 정착한 마을이다. 이들을 쎄메이스키라고 부른다. 쎄메이스키는 부리야트 공화국내에만도 2십만명이 넘게 살고 있다. 그들은 가난하거나, 술 마시는 사람 조차 없다고 한다. 가족의 행복을 위해서 부지런히 일하기 때문이다. 또 하나의 장점은 시베리아 일대에서 러시아 전통문화를 가장 잘 간직한 것으로 알려져 있다. 등에 걸쳐 앞으로 묶는 기혼부인의 나들이용 의복인 키치카와. 명절 때면 머리에 착용한 액세서리를 설명하는 두 분도 쎄메이스키다. 이 키치카는 사람의 손으로 수를 놓아서 만든 것인데, 200여 년 동안을 사용한 것이라고 한다. 러시아 음악가 '림스키코르사코프'는 러시아 음악의 원류를 '쎄메이스키'들에게서 찾아야한다고 주장한다. 쎄메이스키의 또 하나의 특징은 다양한 의상을 소장 하고 있다. 미혼의 젊은 여자의 옷 색깔은 밝고 화려한 것을 추구하고. 결혼을 해서 나이가 들면 어두운 색깔을 선호 했다고 한다. 이 비단 제품은 아프카니스탄에서 만들어진 것이다. 중국에서 울란우데까지의 차마고도를 통해서 가져온 것이다. 이밖에도 우크라이나, 폴란드, 모스크바 등지에서 가져온 다양한 의상을 소장하고 있다.
