Museum of Native American History, Bentonville, Arkansas
Video from a visit to the Museum of Native American History in Bentonville, Arkansas in May of 2016. Background music credit to Bill Miller and Mary Youngblood. I had the privilege of seeing Bill Miller perform in the 1980's in Springfield, Missouri. Please note the book shown near the beginning The Museum of Native American History, A Pictorial Journey by Matt Rowe, is available for purchase either at the museum or on Amazon through MONAH. The museum is fascinating and holds too many ancient treasures to capture them all. We spent about three hours at the museum. Audio wands are given out that provide narrated description of the items displayed. There is also a wonderful gift shop. I used a camcorder that I recently purchased so I am still on a learning curve in getting used to the zoom, etc. Two busloads of elementary students from Rogers, Arkansas visited the museum while we were there. The museum is a wonderful educational opportunity for all ages. Please check out this museum the next time you are in the Bentonville, Arkansas area. You will not be disappointed!
