THE MUSEUM OF THE SLOVAK VILLAGE
Hello and welcome to my channel.
The Museum of the Slovak Village production was recorded in 2008.The large open air Museum of the Slovak Village is located on the outskirts of the city of Martin in Slovakia. The museum was established in the 1960 by the Slovak National Museum.
It represents northwest Slovakian traditional folk architecture, typical in its habitation and lifestyle of traditional rural communities in Slovakia from the 19th to the early 20th century.
Visitors can also see interesting technical objects, such as vegetable flax oil production, worsted production and weaving cloth. These buildings are from different regions in Slovakia, Orava, Liptov, Turiec, Kysuce and Podjavorniky.
At the Museum of the Slovak Village, various events are held every year. These whole-day events show or reconstruct traditional professions, production and handicrafts, ceremonies, traditional manners and folklore.

Vlkolínec, Slovakia / Slovensko / Słowacja
Vlkolínec, Slovakia, is a picturesque village under the administration of the town of Ružomberok. Historically, however, it was a separate village. The first written mention of the village came from 1376 and after 1882 it became part of Ružomberok. Its name is probably derived from the Slovak word vlk, i. e. wolf.
Vlkolínec has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1993, and is one of ten Slovak villages that have been given the status of a folk architecture reservations. This status was granted because the village is an untouched and complex example of folk countryside architecture of the region of the Northern Carpathians.( )

Skanzen Pribylina (Slovakia) Vacation Travel Video Guide

Before the village was flooded, it was the oldest fourteenth century settlement that was inhabited by the important Parisa Family. In Gothic times, tall, spacious rooms were required by the aristocracy, who had a liking for draped walls. At that time, both tableware and dining furniture had become quite refined, and included decorative armour. A Tea Room highlights the influence of Renaissance furnishings, with wooden ornaments and attractive curtains.
