Hey guys!! Another video is here and it’s a vlog! The start of me leaving all of my baggage behind (literally) and traveling with nothing but a backpack and a purse (as my “personal luggage” lol). We are off to Istanbul Turkey and this is just the start of our big adventure. In this vlog we left Cape Town, did so much eating (including street food) as well as exploring Istanbul, seeing the blue mosque and many other buildings. Looking forward to all of the adventure and exploring new places. So I hope you enjoy the start of this traveling series. Let me know what kind of videos you would like to see from all of my travels!

My short one week trip to Turkey with my Mexican friend
First stop - Istanbul
1st Day. Beginning our day with the best breakfast in cafe Emek Yenikoy, traveling to Istinye marina, drinking Turkish coffee with the view to Sultan Mehmet bridge, exploring park area Karakoy, eating most delicious Turkish desserts at the Asian part of Uskudar, drinking tea with sun seeds and enjoying silence of Kiz Kulesi...
2nd Day – no car day! Breakfast with Turkish tea. Subway adventure to the center. Lost in the city on Taksim Square and found Galata Tower with amazing view. Trip to Sultanamet by walk and trying famous fish bread. Passed by Zuma Istanbul.
3rd Day. Rainy morning. Travelling to the Asian Part of Istanbul - Kanlica. First time I have tried traditional yogurt with icing sugar. Yummy A little bit fishing and ceramic pottery to feel pure turkish nature. Came back to Istinye to check Emirgan Korusu and continue testing local cuisine.
Moving to Kayseri --- Cappadocia
Unforgettable 2 day in the Cappadocia fairytale. 4am Air balloons ride. Living in the cave and enjoying Turkish vibes with locals.

When Travelling Gets Tough!
This was a very difficult journey for me, I was suffering from extreme exhaustion from my previous work in Greece. I was holding it together but I was in a lot of pain and discomfort.
This journey was from Istanbul to Fethiye, a place called Shambala in the South West of Turkey. It was absolutely beautiful, I didn't expect it to be quite so stunning! I just wished I felt better to really enjoy it.
So much happened in such a short period of time (3 days)!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! Hello from Turkey!! We had originally planned to visit Turkey earlier this year but had to postpone due to political unrest. We were so excited when things settled down and we were able to go. We visited the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and an underground city. We checked a big item off our bucket list : Hot Air Ballooning in Cappadocia!! It was incredible!!
We found Turkey to have some of the nicest, most welcoming people we've met!! THANK YOU Turkey!!

I am sorry it's taken me so long to post a new video but I finally finished my annual exams and sat all afternoon today to put this video together because it's already overdue. It was my dream to visit Cappadocia for a few years and I took my good friend Emma for this adventure. It was the most amazing week filled with laughter and memories that I'll never forget. This vlog is done in collaboration with Maccan Caves ( Thank you to their wonderful team for having us and for making sure with had the best stay in this magical place. I hope you guys will love this video! It's my favorite trip that I've shared with you so far.
