We are going into the Wild Tiger Forests near Coorg, Karnataka. Covering the Nagarhole National Park and Tiger Reserve and the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in this video. We also hiked the Iruppu Waterfalls. So, Coorg has a lot of Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks and we thought of exploring the wild, and it turned out to be a pretty scary experience !! Nagarhole National Park Boat Safari on RIver Kabini
Boat Safari in Kabini River ( a branch of River Kaveri / Cauvery ). In this majestic safari one can behold the sight of lots of birds, crocodiles basking in the sun, beautiful motorized boat ride. A good sighting of Elephants, wild boars, crocodiles and deer are common. If you are lucky you can also see jackle, fox and dholes (wild dogs) which I will upload in the next video so stay tunes.
The river Kabini marks the boundary of Waynad, Bandipur and Nagarhole National Parks. The biggest elephant (tusker) seen is standing in the Bandipur area while we started our safari from Nagerhole National Park. Thus by this boat safari one can get glimpse of more than one forest.

Location
The park ranges the foothills of the Western Ghats spreading down the Brahmagiri hills and south towards Kerala state. It lies between the latitudes 12°15'37.69N and longitudes 76°17'34.4E. The park covers 643 km2 (248 sq mi) located to the north-west of Bandipur National Park. The Kabini reservoir separates the two parks. Elevations of the park range from 687 to 960 m (2,254 to 3,150 ft). It is 50 km (31 mi) from the major city of Mysore[3] and 220 km (137 mi) from the Karnataka state capital of Bengaluru.[4]
Together with the adjoining Bandipur National Park (870 km2 (340 sq mi)), Mudumalai National Park (320 km2 (120 sq mi)) and Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary (344 km2 (133 sq mi)), it forms the largest protected area in Southern India, totalling 2,183 km2 (843 sq mi).

Timings Of Nagarhole National Park. Talking about Nagarhole National Park timings, the park is usually open from 6:45 AM - 8:45 AM in the morning and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the evening. The timings for safari are 06:00 AM- 08:00 AM in the morning and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the evening.

Road Trip from Bangalore to Kutta,Coorg Through NagarHole National Park

Last weekend we took a Road Trip from Bangalore to Kutta,Coorg and stayed at Hut Resorts amidst Coffee Plantation. The place was called as Turtle Pond and was really a beautiful property. I am putting the Tripadvisor Link Below.

To reach the place we drove through NagarHole National Park. The drive was really awesome and we spotted Deer, Langur, Elephant, Bison through our ride.
We stopped for Breakfast at place called as Rangrez.
Coorg is a beautiful place to spend a day or two. Perfect for a weekend getaway from Bangalore. Just sit back, relax and take a good break.
