Random Scoot into Pathless Woods, 1800s Mind & Spirit Cleanse
(Press the CC button to turn on/off subtitles. YT can translate subtitles). Join my tramp into the pathless woods behind our home and experience a mind and spirt cleanse from the 1800s. I will follow the tradition of writers and poets such as Lord Byron, Henry David Thoreau and Charles Dudley Warner. The hike will be very different from what most people do. Instead of walking quickly from point A to point B, I will take a random journey through the forest with no definite destination, observing nature and becoming one with her.
The term “random scoot” can be traced back to Nantucket Island (Massachusetts, USA) in the 1800s. A random scoot can also refer to a day's cruise or a picnic on the island. To enter the forest I to go through a swampy area, sort of a no man’s land. I’m not quite sure who owns it. The area has not been drained and therefore doesn’t have houses on it.

G&F Travel Cape Cod: Artichoke
SEE MORE:
Sisters Kate and Lizzy Escher made their dreams come true when they opened their clothing studio, ARTichoke. There was no place they would rather be dishing out the goods than right on the Cape. The dynamic duo calls Cape Cod home having been raised in the area. The Cape community is a very strong one, says Kate, They have your back and we are so lucky to be part of it. They bring together the love of their surroundings and life experiences to create silkscreened designs on vintage-soft tees. And they sell like hotcakes from their charming Eastham boutique right off Route 6, the main artery of the Cape.
