A fresh and unique take on a modern day steakhouse from a well-known, well -respected Chicago restaurateur Benny Siddu. Benny's features the highest quality steaks, seafood and chops, but it's the nice twists and the expansive top-notch cocktails that sets Benny's apart from other plush-booth steak houses in the city. Start with a Benny's signature seafood salad with shrimp, calamari, octopus, and sepia, before moving on to the decadent Lobster Ravioli or a dry aged 16oz bone in rib-eye. Wash it down with the Final Breath cocktail of Plymouth Gin, Green Chartreuse, Maraschino, and Lime... Ooooh my! Where did I jot down their hours? I have to go!

Museum: Miss Lori interviews the curator of the National @HellenicMuseum in Chicago video
Miss Lori had the pleasure of interviewing National Hellenic Museum Curator Bethany Fleming during a private tour before the grand opening on December 10. Bethany let Miss Lori in on a secret that's not so secret, The National Hellenic Museum intends to go viral in the community as well as online and they want museum goers to make that happen one tweet, one update, one photo at a time. Though the material within the museum deals with Ancient times Bethany's approach is entirely current. She hopes that by making the museum opening to technology, families will be more apt to visit again and again becoming more immersed in the history and culture of the Greek heritage. 6. New Human Callao Cave
Is it possible that some of the first humans inhabited the caves of the philippines? Scientists are pondering the possibility after a rare discovery took place at the callao cave system in the northern island of Luzon. Evolution in asia has always been an interesting and complicated subject but this just made it even more complicated! The skull remains are carbon dated between 50,000 to 67000 years ago. This discovery could possibly rewrite the history books, pushing the clock back 20,000 years of when humans began entering southeast Asia. This find go against the “out of Africa” theory which states that human origins are descended from humans in Africa and came from one region. The skeleton was dubbed as the Homo Luzonensis in April of 2019.
5. The Laguna Copper Plate Inscription
The laguna copper plate inscription is the oldest of any calendar dated object found in the philippines. It was discovered by a worker near the lumbang river in the Laguna province. It displays a mix of the old malay language and was eventually deciphered by a dutch anthropologists named Antoon Postma in 1992. Many historians believe it proves trade, cultural and maybe even political ties to the medang kingdom of Java. It also helps display the influence of indian culture into the area. The copper place measures about 8 inches by 12 inches and was made by heated metal words being pressed into it. The inscription discusses the payment of a debt that was paid with in gold.
4. Hanging Coffins of Sagada
Various forms of hanging coffins can be found in asia throughout countries such as china, indonesia, and of course the philippines. Well before the arrival of the spanish, these coffins were placed unconventionally by tribes who were native to these lands. The practice dates back over 2 millenia ago under the belief that the higher they go, the closer they are to their ancestors and the afterlife. People feared burying their loved ones underground where it might leave . Some people still choose to follow this practice but it’s quite rare to find. Another reason was so that no one could reach them but if they got buried up there, then there had to have been a way to reach them somehow. In any case, although it’s fairly grim
3. Manunggul Jar
This jar we see here might look not look like anything out of the ordinary at first but considering this thing is about 2900 years old, it’s quite remarkable. It was discovered from a neolithic burial site found in the Tabon caves of Lipuun point in Palawan. The two little figurines at the top of the jar are actually meant to represent the jouney to the afterlife. It’s often considered to be the finest of philippine pre-colonial artwork ever created and is designated as a national treasure. Ancient philippine religion suggested that the journey to the afterlife consisted of getting on a boat and passing through different rivers and seas which is strikingly similar to other mythology at the time like in ancient greece. It was first discovered by Dr. Robert Fox in 1964 while excavating the tabon cave system. The creepy part of this discovery was that there was human bones found inside that were all painted red. Some even theorize that the figures on the boat aren’t even homo sapiens at all and are actually homo floresiensis who would have only been about 4 feet tall and are colloquially nicknamed the hobbits!.
2. Golden Tara of Agusan
The golden figurine were see here was discovered on accident by a woman in 1917 when she was near the banks of the Wawa River. It turns out to be from indian origin and displays a hindu diety. Not long after it was discovered, it was proclaimed as the most spectacular find yet made in the philippine archaeology. The gold tara of Agusan weighs nearly 4 pounds and made from 21 carat gold. It’s not on display in the philippines as you would imagine, but actually at the field museum of Natural history in Chicago, USA. There is much mysterious that shrouds this artifact as to how it got to the philippines in the first place

Girlfriend lyrics:
Hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your girlfriend
No way, no way, I think you need a new one
Hey, hey, you, you, I could be your girlfriend
Hey, hey, you, you, I know that you like me
No way, no way, you know it's not a secret
Hey, hey, you, you, I want to be your girlfriend
You're so fine, I want you mine, you're so delicious
I think about you all the time, you're so addictive
Don't you know what I can do to make you feel alright?
(Alright, alright, alright, alright)
Don't pretend, I think you know I'm damn precious
And hell yeah, I'm the motherfucking princess
I can tell you like me too and you know I'm right
(I'm right, I'm right, I'm right, I'm right)
She's like so whatever
You could do so much better
I think we should get together now
And that's what everyone's talking about
Hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your girlfriend
No way, no way, I think you need a new one
Hey, hey, you, you, I could be your girlfriend
Hey, hey, you, you, I know that you like me
No way, no way, you know it's not a secret
Hey, hey, you, you, I want to be your girlfriend
I can see the way, I see the way you look at me
And even when you look away, I know you think of me
I know you talk about me all the time again and again
So come over here and tell me what I want to hear (So come over here)
Better yet, make your girlfriend disappear
I don't want to hear you say her name ever again
And again, and again, and again
'Cause she's like so whatever
And you could do so much better
I think we should get together now
And that’s what everyone’s talking about

Sk8er Boi lyrics:
He was a boy
She was a girl
Can I make it any more obvious?
He was a punk
She did ballet
What more can I say?
He wanted her
She'd never tell
Secretly she wanted him as well
But all of her friends
Stuck up their nose
They had a problem with his baggy clothes
He was a skater boy
She said, see you later, boy
He wasn't good enough for her
She had a pretty face
But her head was up in space
She needed to come back down to earth
Five years from now
She sits at home
Feeding the baby, she's all alone
She turns on TV
Guess who she sees
Skater boy rockin' up MTV
She calls up her friends
They already know
And they've all got tickets to see his show
She tags along
Stands in the crowd
Looks up at the man that she turned down
He was a skater boy
She said, see you later, boy
He wasn't good enough for her
Now he's a super star
Slammin' on his guitar
Does your pretty face see what he's worth?
He was a skater boy
She said, see you later, boy
He wasn't good enough for her
Now he's a super star
Slammin' on his guitar
Does your pretty face see what he's worth?
Sorry, girl, but you missed out
Well, tough, luck that boy's mine now
We are more than just good friends
This is how the story ends
Too bad that you couldn't see
See the man that boy could be
There is more that meets the eye
I see the soul that is inside
He's just a boy
And I'm just a girl
Can I make it any more obvious?
We are in love
Haven't you heard
How we rock each others world
I'm with the skater boy
I said, see you later, boy
I'll be back stage after the show
I'll be at the studio
Singing the song we wrote
About a girl you used to know
I'm with the skater boy
I said, see you later, boy
I'll be back stage after the show
I'll be at the studio
Singing the song we wrote
About a girl you used to know
