Hi there!This is Ranee and Christian, welcome to our channel. We have spent 4 days and 4 nights in the beautiful country of Malta. It is a small country found in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, south of Italy.
This video contains the places we've visited during our first day, some tips and information that can help you if you'd like to travel to Malta.

MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY
The Museum of Archaeology is situated a short walk down Valletta’s Republic street. Once the Auberge de Provence, the structure dates back to 1571 and housed those Knights of the Order of St John originating from Provence. The façade is a stunning example of Baroque architecture, typical of architect Girolamo Cassar’s designs. The Grand Salon, used by the Knights for business and banqueting, features ornately painted walls and wooden ceilings. Under former Minister of Education, Agatha Barbara, the building was converted into a museum in 1958, becoming formally the National Museum for Archaeology in 1974.

State Museum of Archeology Chemnitz
Once a renowned department store and far ahead of its time in terms of architecture, the Schocken department store in Chemnitz, Germany, took on a new identity from spring 2014. The smac, the Chemnitz State Museum of Archeology, was opened within the famous department store. The museum provided Saxony with a lasting presentation of its archeological national treasures. NUSSLI was commissioned by the State Office of Archeology to build all the displays and exhibits. Atelier Brückner was responsible for general planning. NUSSLI used covered displays, wall displays and displays made entirely of glass for the exhibitions.

The National Museum of Archaeology is housed in the Auberge de Provence, in Republic Street, Valletta. SANTORINI ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM FIRA
A Fine Collection of Exhibits
While many outstanding archaeological finds from Santorini will be found at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, the Historical and Cultural Archaeological Museum of Santorini in Fira contains artifacts from excavations on the island ...
It was built in 1960 by the Ministry of Public Works in order to replace the old museum (built in 1902), that had collapsed during the earthquake of 1956.
Noteworthy are a fine collection of geometric red and black vases from the fifth century BC Inscriptions are plentiful among the displays in the museum and a certain amount of Minoan ware is also on exhibit.
The museum also hosts impressive frescoes as well as sculptures of the Hellenistic period, Byzantine works of art and even some remains of prehistoric times.
