Wyoming Fly Fishing-Yellowstone River's and Snake River Tributaries
The Cowboy state has some of the finest river's to fly fish in the world. This past summer I left my home in Utah several times to explore new water in a state that I hadn't spent much time in before. In the middle of the summer my friend Derek, my Uncle Kimble, and I met up for an unforgettable trip which included fly fishing in Yellowstone, and some of the amazing tributaries of the Snake River around Jackson Hole.
Cutthroat trout are known for their willingness to rise to dry flies, but the three of us love Euro Nymphing and fished this method to the many cutthroat trout we came across. Not surprisingly, we were very successful covering the water with such an effective nymphing technique (similar to czech nymphing).
Wyoming is not only home to worldclass fly fishing, but most of Yellowstone and its amazing wildlife as well. We were lucky enough to cross paths with some amazing buffalo, as well as a handful of gigantic moose (including the big bull in the video). It was truly a trip to remember.
Thanks for watching!

Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park - Heaven on Earth
This is our trip to the world's first national park - Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. We hiked and camped the park for 10 days in Fall 2015. It was a whole new world out there and we enjoyed being in the wild and with nature. A memorable experience.
We tried to capture a glimpse of what it offers, above! Enjoy.

FYI ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
In one word - MAJESTIC. Grand Teton National Park's immense peaks provide the backdrop for this park. In summer on top of the mountains, what appears to be snow are 12 mountain glaciers. Alpine lakes and the Snake River reflect the mountains and forests. Wildlife you are likely to spot are elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, eagles and trumpeter swans. Wolves, black bear (Signal Mountain Drive), grizzly bear and moose may be seen if you are lucky. Besides scenic drives and wildlife watching, you can hike (consider Heavenward), camp, picnic, watch for rare birds, take a shuttle boat to Hidden Falls (recommended), float the Snake River, visit 1890's ranches, bird watch and fish for trout. Nearby Jackson and Jackson Hole offer excellent accommodations, attractions and other tourist amenities.

National Parks Trip 2018 Day 10 Teton Lodge to Colter Bay
Morning hike to Gran Teton Overlook from the Lodge, then check out, a lovely drive around the Jenny Lake, Taggart Lake Hike, and grilled dinner at the Colter Bay cabin.
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
This is part of our 2018 roadtrip from Denver to Seattle.
In this episode we visit Grand Tetons National Park.
We did some amazing hike to moose ponds (no moose overthere) and walk around Jenny Lake to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. From there we took the shuttle boat back. On our way back we saw a big bull moose on the banks of Lake Jenny.
Our second hike in Tetons was the Heron Pond and Swan Lake loop with 2 beautiful lakes. On this hike we had a close bear encounter. A mama black bear with 2 (or 3) cubs. We kept a safe distance!

Ep 14 - RVing Grand Teton National Park: May 2019
The first episode of our RV trip to Grand Teton National Park. We stayed over halfway in Rawlins, WY before making it to Colter Bay Village in time to watch the sunset from Swim Beach at Jackson Lake. But before we even got settled in, we'd seen FIVE grizzly bears! It was an epic first day in the park; stay tuned for the rest of our adventure!
PS - We realized as we were leaving the beach that DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Oops.

Top 10 National Parks (4k)
UPDATE: We now have been to Alaska and visited 2 national parks (Kenai Fjords and Denali). Where would they fall on the list? Kenai is amazing and you can see lots of ocean life on a clear day (our day was rainy on the ferry) as well as a couple of tidewater glaciers. A great experience and it would probably fall somewhere near the end of our list (maybe #7 or 8), due to cost and limited accessibility to park features. Denali would also be near the bottom of the list (maybe #9), though it has amazing wilderness and we saw 2 bull moose fighting, it takes a really long time to get to it, has one main road that eventually requires riding a long bus tour, and the main attraction (mount Denali) is only visible 30% of the time (we never saw it). Having said all of this, if they ever turn Prince William Sound into a national park, that would be near the top of our list. It was me and my wife's favorite part of the Alaska trip: Lots of glaciers, lots of wildlife, lots of pristine forest and islands, just beautiful...
...This list covers the Western USA and features photos in 4k. Please feel free to ask us any questions you have about the parks. If you have trouble viewing the video try using a computer or tablet instead of a mobile phone. Hopefully Youtube will fix the issue soon. :)
Update: Yellowstone lake is not the highest fresh water lake in the USA, it's the largest lake at high elevation in the USA (over 7000 ft.). I knew better, but rushed the script and voice over, so it made it into the video (oops).

Travel Adventure: Grovont Range at Jackson, Wyoming
An hour north of Jackson Wyoming the world is untamed and almost uncharted. The Tetons rise in the distance as you push forward through lands as open as the world itself. The winter holds itself at bay for one short day as you climb on your ATV and explore the hills and meadows of this striking state.
For Bob Hatton and Ron Daveler, both residents of Jackson, that description is the image of the perfect day. They set out to ride the trails they love so much, but enjoy it in a new way, one that will lead them down surprising paths and open the world to their eyes...
Colter Bay Lakeshore Trail, Grand Teton National Park (Trip 3 Vid 27) United States
We took a fairly easy and short hike along the Colter Bay Lakeshore Trail. It is about a mile long with some walking along the shore and also in woods. Get a great view of the mountains as well.
