Unusual hillside cemeteries in Massachusetts, United States.
This video looks at the Hillside Cemetery in North Adams, MA, USA but I saw several others in the area (a hilly but not mountainous region of MA).
What I found interesting was the stepped nature of the cemetery with graves side by side but often several feet above/below each other. The stepped nature of the cemetery does not come out brilliantly in the video but I thought it worth sharing.

Adams Town History | Connecting Point | Feb. 9, 2015
Tucked into the northernmost corner of the Berkshires and minutes from the borders of New York and Vermont, the town of Adams, Massachusetts has a surprisingly rich and colorful history. With ties to luminaries such as President William McKinley and Susan B. Anthony, what was once a thriving mill town has changed a lot over the years. Producer Tony Dunne takes us on trip down memory lane exploring the past of this quintessential American community nestled in the shadow of Mount Greylock.
North Adams man arrested; charged with shippin
NORTH ADAMS, MA - A joint investigation with the North Adams Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, United States Postal Service and the Berkshire County Drug Task Force resulted in the arrest of a North Adams man.
Police say 52 year old Mark Ring attempted to ship crystal methamphetamine by U.S. mail.
Authorities say they intercepted the package and found it contained 13.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Ring was charged with Possess to Distribute Methamphetamine, he was arraigned and held on $25,000 bail. He is currently at the Berkshire County House of Correction.
Skiing Mt. Greylock Massachusetts 2001 & 2018
Time warp on the same Thunderbolt Ski Trail 17 years apart. MA's highest point has a historic ski trail cut in 1934 which makes a tight tough eastern peak easy for moderate skiers. The trail drops off the east side to Adams. See the trail in 2001 before the bridge was built.
Skin up the side of the trail or dedicated skin trails off the main trail. Get about 2k' of human powered vert just 45 min east of Albany.
The older video was taken on VHS-C video tape and was a part of phase 1 of the Skiing States Project - skiing the Northeastern Highpoints. When we revisit the Berkshires the conditions are better with an old powder from a Noreaster. High Point Shorts videos are just skiing and music.

BOSTON, EXPLORING America's oldest city park, Boston Common (Massachusetts, USA) ????️
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go for a walk along Boston Commons, a central public park located downtown in the historic city of Boston, Massachusetts. It dates from 1634 and it is the oldest city park in the United States. The Boston Commons consists of 50 acres (20 ha) and I videotaped it on a rainy wintry day, I will be back on a sunny day to videotape its art displayed everywhere...
Boston is Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Founded in 1630, it’s one of the oldest cities in the U.S. The key role it played in the American Revolution is highlighted on the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation’s founding. One stop, former meeting house Faneuil Hall, is a popular marketplace.
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.

Breathtaking Views from the Summit House, Skinner State Park, Summit House,Travel, Tourism
Presented by Sven Kielhorn from
Today I decided to visit one of my favorite places in Western Massachusetts. The Summit House at Skinner State Park at the western end of the Holyoke Range. The view from the summit house over the Connecticut River Valley is simply breathtaking. You can enjoy spectacular views of the New England landscape. From the farm fields to the mountains of four states, the sights are amazing for a mountain of a mere 942 feet.
