QINGDAO NAVY MUSEUM
For our 13th video, we visited The Qingdao Naval Museum. It is the only military museum that records the entire Chinese navy history. History buffs would love this place. It was very cool to see some Soviet-era warcraft from World War II. We were able to climb about three naval warships and wandered around the yard which was crowded with missiles, boats, tanks and plenty of warfare.

We wanted a challenge and something fun, so we are starting an adventure of a lifetime. We’re calling it #60×60. Our plan is to travel to 60 countries by the time Kim turns 60 (that’s in 6 years by the way).

China says it will celebrate the Navy's 70th anniversary in Qingdao, a coastal city in east China's Shandong Province. The Chinese Ministry of National Defense made this announcement at a monthly press conference. It will hold multinational naval activities in the Yellow Sea, off the coast of Qingdao, in late April.

Russia's warship arrive at Qingdao for PLA Navy celebrations
The Russian Admiral Gorshkov frigate has arrived at Qingdao port on Sunday noon. Russia's Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov welcomed the warship at the port.

Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy is celebrating its 70th anniversary on a grand scale. On Tuesday, China's eastern port city Qingdao witnessed the naval parade that showcased destroyers and submarines and an international fleet review that brought together navy delegates from 18 countries. Less under the spotlight is PLA navy's formation and its creation as a critical step of the historical Yangtze River Crossing Campaign. The themed museum in the navy's birthplace Jiangsu Taizhou is the best place to get the detailed account of the historical episode. Join CGTN for a ride into the founding story of Chinese PLA navy.
MAY 4TH SQUARE + OLYMPIC SAILING CENTER in Qingdao China
The May 4th Movement happened as a result of Article 156 of the Treaty of Versailles. It transferred German concessions to Japan rather than returning them to China. There was huge outrage over this which prompted mass student demonstrations on May 4th, 1919.
We spent the day hanging out in the square, walking around the Olympic Sailing Center and watching an amazing drone air show.
