Japan Trip: Kodaiji temple through Nene-no-michi path, Kyoto025, Japan Moopon
Kodaiji is a distinctive temple in Kyoto's Higashiyama District. It was completed in 1606 in memory of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, one of Japan's most famous historical figures, by Hideyoshi's wife Nene who is also enshrined at the temple.
Kodaiji belongs to the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism. Its main buildings were constructed in the lavish style of the era of Japan's unification with the financial support of Hideyoshi's successor Tokugawa Ieyasu. The interiors are richly adorned with decorations and the buildings are surrounded by beautiful Zen gardens.

After Ninen-zaka, we walked the narrow Ichinen-zaka while eating
Otabe made with Maccha, and cross the street at its end. This Nene-no-michi started at the opposite side of narrow Ichinen-zaka where we saw rickshaw (jinrikisha).

京都春行 華夢浮春鄉 桜色のねねの道
ねねの道是著名歷史人物「高台院」行至高台寺修行的必經之路。因祇園閣(銅閣)在此，故最有名的詩歌便是平家物語的冒頭
「祇園精舎の鐘の聲、諸行無常の響あり。沙羅雙樹の花の色、盛者必衰の理をあらはす。驕れる人も久しからず、唯春の夜の夢の如し。猛き者もつひには滅びぬ、偏に風の前の塵に同じ。」
譯詩為：
祇園精舍鐘響盪，聲聲諸行本無常；沙羅雙樹花色訴，盛者必衰理顯揚。
恃驕之人不長久，唯如春夜夢一場，任汝再猛終湮滅；恰如風吹塵飛揚。
暮春來到這裡更有著名的八坂塔，只要步行至高台院鐘樓旁即可見到美景，怎見得？詩云「步遨高台寺坡花，離離新葉曇天發，暢意遊寺觀東遙，櫻霧雲華五重塔。」
俳曰「ねね道や 八坂の塔と 花雲野」
下坡至石塀小路看櫻花，但見裝飾華美的鐵燈籠與滿開的櫻花實為絕配，怎見得？詩云「步屧石塀小路通，粉霧紅鈿雲燈籠，櫻霰花藹醉心客，寧寧之道華春風。」「寧寧之道華春風，櫻霰緋雪醉心中，剪雲薄霞曇天醺，石塀小路紫燈籠。」俳曰「石塀の 小路灯籠 花雲野」「石塀の 小路灯籠 花万朶」
往前來到大雲院前的轉角，櫻花青佛祇園閣相得益彰，怎見得？詩云「寧寧之道華春風，櫻霰緋雪曇楠紅，石佛觀化華世間，金鶴立鉾銅閣中。」「霞櫻輕綺霰巷柯，寧道仙雲萬玉娥，時聞銅閣金鶴鳴，華世觀化禪青佛。 」「薄醉沈宿夢霞雲，蹁躚香風綺羅粉，始信微醉由天然，佛光塔影淨無塵。」「是誰錯落娑婆界，凝妝纔就薄鈿雪，千般揚抑百縈迴，青佛禪觀華世業。」
俳曰「仏前には 桜と灯 ねねの道」「ねね道の 仏や寺鶴と 花雲野」「石仏や 霞桜緋雪の ねねの道」「ねね道の 曇桜緋霰 の金鶴」「石仏の 霞鈿霧桜の ねねの道」
平成10年、円山公園から圓徳院前を通り一念坂に至る道。御影石2,500枚を敷き詰めた石畳の道に整備され、「高台寺道」から「ねねの道」と命名された。京都東山の高台寺周辺の人気観光スポットを徒歩で繋ぐ参道が整備され「ねねの道」の愛称で親しまれている。春のねねの道を桜はもちろん、豊臣秀吉の妻の北政所を物語、庭園など見どころがいっぱい。歴史を肌で感じながら、春のねねの道をめぐりましょう。ねねの道の桜は本数もさることながら、染井吉野が咲き集うのも魅力。石塀小路のソメイヨシノと鈿灯籠をはじめ。同じ春でも時季や時間をかえて楽しむことができます。桜の並木道。八坂の塔はこの辺りを見渡せる。道内散策の青仏となる桜が人々をお見送りします。京都らしい特典もあります。

Kodaiji adalah sebuah kuil khusus di distrik Higashiyama, Kyoto. Selesai dibangun tahun 1606 untuk mengenang ToyotomiHideyoshi, seorang tokoh sejarah paling terkenal di Jepang, oleh Nene, istri Hideyoshi, yang juga dimakamkan di kuil ini.
Kodaiji milik sekte Rinzai dari Buddhisme Zen. Bangunan utamanya dibangun dalam gaya mewah dari era penyatuan Jepang dengan dukungan dana dari pewaris Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu. Interiornya kaya akan dekorasi dan bangunan nya dikelilingi oleh taman-taman yang indah bergaya Zen.
