A good friend and I took a nice vacation and did a road trip to New Mexico and Colorado. We took the Jeep out four-wheeling and did a lot of camping. This video features aerial and dashcam footage of our trip, including the route from Dolores, CO, to Telluride, CO, and through some great scenic landscapes in New Mexico. Enjoy!

GOD BLESS NEW MEXICO - BuDDy
If there's ever been a sweeter NM tribute song I'd sure as hell like to know about it. A parody of God Bless the USA. From BuDDy's new CD, available at
LYRICS:
Jim Terr © 2010 (parody of God Bless the USA)
Blue Canyon Music BMI
From the eastern plains of Clovis, to the mountains up in Taos,
From the ridgetop mansions in Hyde Park, to a small adobe house.
From the county roads near Farmington to Albuquerq's Big I,
We're all in this together, under the big New Mexico sky...
And I'm proud to be a New Mexican, where we message while we drive.
And you don't need to wait til tomorrow for manana to arrive.
But I'd gladly stand up, then sit down, 20 times at the half time show.
'Cause we're fit and lean, we're strong and mean...
God bless New Mexico!
From Elephant Butte Lake State Park, to the shores of Conchas Dam,
Don't tell me to wear no life vest,. No, remember where I am.
I'm lucky to have my huevos, ranchero-style for breakfast.
And I'm glad we're close to heaven, 'cause we're also close to Texas.
And I'm proud to be a New Mexican, where ya can't make me wear sun screen.
And I don't have to use turn signals, and I'm free to choose red or green.
And now was it yellow, green or red that's my signal I should go?
Who really cares? I'm already there...
God bless New Mexico...

Northern New Mexico Compound
While reporting on a compound in Northern New Mexico where children were believed to have been trained on how to carry out school shootings, we were given rare access and permission to tour the area by the rightful owner of the property. This is a raw, unedited video that I hope will help give people who are following this story some context. Will also build a thread @GadiNBC on Twitter to fill in more details.
Monticello Canyon Trail New Mexico
Driving through the Monticello Canyon Trail with my 1985 Jeep Wagoneer. Along the way there were multiple water crossings. This is a short clip of the trail. This is an area with a lot of history, so please, treat the area with the respect it deserves. Please Tread Lightly, and always leave it clean. Pack out more than you brought in.
