Minneapolis was destined to be a center of commerce due to its location at the Falls of St. Anthony, which was named by the French explorer Fr. Louis Hennepin in 1680. St. Anthony Falls is by far the largest source of water power on the Mississippi River. The falls were harnessed to power lumber mills in the 1840s and later for flour milling. By 1870, Minneapolis on the west bank and St. Anthony on the east bank formed the largest flour producing center in the world. In 1872, Minneapolis absorbed its older neighbor. Most of the old St Anthony township is now known as Northeast Minneapolis. A small part of the old township comprises most of the current suburb of St. Anthony

Minnesota is lit for the Super Bowl LII! My son and I joined in on the Minnesota Mania. We kicked things off with a LIVE taping of First Take (pun intended). It was all the way live! I got a pic of Kevin Hart and a clip of him formally apologizing to Minnesotans for his hometown Philadelphians being so rude. Kevin Hart is a class act!
I also spotted Kevin Frazier from Entertainment Tonight, he is a super nice young man. I stopped him and introduced myself and he even agreed to take a selfie with me and my son!
I also met a Sportscaster, he was so, so nice to me. He waved at me in between tapings and gave me some good advice! I took tons of pics.

We went to Minneapolis during Christmas. That was surprisingly fun! I was thinking it gonna be boring and cold, but that was not at all! They have the biggest mall around USA. Make sure you visit it mall if you go there. Hope you guys enjoy it! Happy holidays!

A day in Minneapolis !
First time being to this lovely city , I did not know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.
Went to the Mall of America, with its indoor amusement park, aquarium, escape rooms, bowling alley, restaurants and of course shopping shopping shopping. I didn’t get to experience the whole thing but I did as much as I could in 4 hours.
Stayed at the W, such a beautiful hotel. Great amenities, full suite with a bar, 2 mini bars, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms, soaker tub, rainfall walk in shower, with great views. Slept like a dream in the comfortable king bed.
Had dinner at one of the best steak houses in the world Manny’s.
Had the sirloin cooked rare, with loaded mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. Strawberries with chocolate and cream for dessert. And a fine bottle of wine suggest by the staff.
I only spent a day there but I tried to experience and film as much as I could. I don’t have the best camera for vlogging (I use my iPhone) I’m terrible at editing but I’m trying to put out content so I hope you enjoy !

In the show, Mary's apartment home address was 119 N Weatherly Ave, Apt D. The actual home is located at 2104 Kenwood Ave and is for sale!
The Lake Mary is walking by is Lake of The Isles.
The location that many of the shots from the opening montage of Mary shopping are located at the IDS Building in downtown Minneapolis. This is where she went shopping, rode the escalator, had lunch, and walked around. Nicollet Ave and 7th Street in downtown Minneapolis.
Basil's Restaurant is located here as well. Be sure to ask for the Mary Tyler Moore Table!
Mary worked in the Snyder Building. In real life, it is the Midwest Federal Savings And Loan, located a block south of the IDS Center on Nicollet Mall. Built in 1969, it rises up 275 feet high supporting 20 stories.
the famous statute of Mary Richards tossing her hat was donated by TV Land cable TV network. It is normally located on Nicollet Mall, the pedestrian mall that takes the place of Nicollet Ave in downtown Minneapolis. Mary is normally located at the southwest corner of 7th and Nicollet, across the street from the IDS Center.
The Statue is now located at the Minneapolis Visitor Information Center. 505 Nicollet Mall #100, Minneapolis, MN 55402 due to construction on Nicollet st.
