I took a trip to the Night Safari one evening, as it was actually something I had not experienced before. I thought it was a good concept, but it is so dark that it makes photography and videography almost impossible. I didn't bother queuing for the Tram, though I enjoyed a good 45 minutes walking around in the park, and liked the Malayan Tigers and Lions, but by the time I got to the leopards the night had fallen and I couldn't see. I wouldn't pay S$39 to enter again.

Sitting on the tram in the Night Safari at the Singapore Zoo.
This tram goes around the Night Safari and is a relaxing way to sight see the animals in the zoo.
This zoo features nocturnal animals thats why it is open at night and everywhere's all dark so your eyes need some time to adjust to be able to see them.

Welcome to our first Singapore Adventure, today we visiting NIGHT SAFARI IN SINGAPORE
We Natasha & Alex and today we had the most exciting first day here in Singapore. We first walked the Marina By the Bay Waterfront Promenade to get to the very popular Art & Science museum. After we went to the Mall to check out these famous Asian Food courts that are so worth the exploring because you will find endless choices of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Malay and indian meals, but find a table fast because it gets so busy!
After the sun went down we headed back out to start the most incredible experience of our lives, the Night Safari Zoo. we hopped in our jeep and the keeper told us everything about the beautiful animals in the open spaces. after our tour most people went home, but we didn't! pulling a nighter untill closing time, we were alone in the zoo with the sounds of creepy crawly and each other. join us for an amazing experience to add to your next adventure.

Tram Ride - Night Safari, Singapore
The tram ride was the final part of the night safari tour. You can also get down at the different trails to observe the animals more closely.
The tram ride is great, you get to sit in an open vehicle with no rails or glass windows and the guide explains about each species as you go along. The tram ride lasts about 20 minutes and you get to see many different animals.
They have some unique animals here: Markhors (Largest wild goat in the world), Mouflons, Barasingha, Babirusa and the Asian Wild Dogs (Dhole). We also saw the Asian Elephants, Asian and African Lions, Wallaby, Tigers and Giraffe. The list of animals does not end there.
Go early if you are an animal lover. You want to go to the different trails and watch the animals at leisure. The animals here are kept at their natural sleep cycle unlike other zoos. So they are much more relaxed. However, it is hard to watch the animals at night and it is even worse for the camera. No flash photography is allowed, so your pictures won't come out good.
The night safari is definitely one of the top 10 things to do in Singapore. It will be a treat for kids, I am sure. Follow Me on:
