Ajwa Garden in Baroda (Vadodara)
Ajwa Garden is a best tourist destination with a fountain garden, located just 29 KMs from city. It was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in early 20th century.
Ajwa is the reservoir which is also known as Sayaji Sarovar or Ajwa Lake. Ajwa Sarovar provides water for 300,000 people in Vadodara city. The garden was inspired by the popular Krishnaraja Sagar Dam-Vrindavan Gardens in Mysore-Karnataka which is famous for its musical fountain show.
The best time to visit Ajwa Garden is during evening to night, when the lights & sound of Fountain Show starts. One must also visit Ajwa Reservoir, then water treatment plant and finally the gardens. One must note that entry to the water treatment plant needs prior approval from the authorities.
Public Transport to Ajwa Garden is available from city.

Aatapi Wonderland Theme Park, Ajwa, Vadodara, Gujarat, India - All Rides - One Day Picnic Spot
The Atapi Wonderland Theme Park is a Gujarat government project which spread over 70 acres of land which makes it biggest theme park in western zone of India. This is the finest place near Ahmedabad and Baroda (Vadodara) to chill out with friends, group, family or beloved one.
Wednesday remains close.
There are more than 40 rides, theme park, garden, cafeteria, water laser show and much more to enjoy. As this park opened for public on 25th December 2018, there are some part of park is still under construction.

Great place to spend time with kids excellent rides.The zip line is freaking amazing. One of the best rides. Apart from the rides..it is one of the best theme park in Gujarat(Vadodara). Lots of new Rides with fun and thriller.. Rides are new, good and maintained.Some issue with food availability as they were not able to manage crowd. Overall, Nice place for a day picnic, to bring children, family outing, school/college/friends hangouts
Ticket : Rs 147 with 4 rides ...Rs 300 with 6 rides...Rs 970 with 32 rides...and Rs 1800 Fastrack all rides.

Aatapi Wonderland is a government project which spread over 70 acres of land at Ajwa near Vadodara. It is one of the biggest theme park in the Western zone of India, which has some of the best rides, a place where you can spend the entire day with the full family as a picnic spot and enjoy the fun filled activities and entertainment. A theme village on chota bheem is being made at Aatapi wonderland. It also have a big food court with a lot of choices rendering all ages of people. One needs to purchase Food Card from ticket counter if you are willing to have food from the food court inside. The CM of Gujarat opened the park for public on 25th Dec, 18. It has around 50 rides like water laser show, Pendulum ride, Glow Garden, Adventure Rope Course, Rain Dance, Flying Carousel, Boating, bump-a-car. It also has buggies for elderly people who cannot walk. The charge though is on a little higher side but still it is useful for elderly parents. Currently, there are a lot of rides which are under construction like roller coaster, go carting, Jurassic park, etc.
