Anime figure shopping in Den Den Town, the Akihabara of Osaka, Japan, with anime merch shops, arcades/game centres, gachapon, maid cafes, cosplay stores & otaku goods.
Join me for a tour of DenDen Town, showing you figure prices, what shops there are and how it compares to Akihabara. Denden Town is smaller than Akiba and I found it doesn't quite have the same buzzing atmosphere, but it's still an amazing place to go if you like anime or manga and you're in Osaka. There are lots of shops I recognise, including Animate, Super Potato, Melon Books, Softmap, Maiddreamin and lots more. It's in Nipponbashi, just a short walk south of Dotonbori.

Denden Town - OTAKU HEAVEN IN OSAKA
Just north of Ebisucho station near Namba station and the Kuromon Market, you’ll find Denden Town, also known as Nipponbashi, Electric Town or Denki no Machi. It’s basically Osaka’s version of Akihabara, only a lot cheaper. It’s the place to get the latest electronics, games and action figures for a reasonable price. If you love manga, comics, and anime, you must also stop by the popular Otaku Road, which crossed through the Animate Mega Store. A lot of these stores used to be second-hand stores and bookstores, but got replaced with electronic stores after World War II.

Day 7: A day in Den-Den Town, Osaka
Today the rain had finally stopped, and ready to explore more of Osaka. Today we started off going to get some melon pan ice cream and then to don quijote for some shopping. lastly, we will be going to Nipponbashi / Den-Den Town, in Osaka. Den-Den Town is similar to Akihabara in Tokoyo, where many shops will specialize in Anime, manga, collectibles, and electronics. This is a must visit place if you are an anime fan or an Otaku. We went here searching for Gundams, and Evangelion figures. We found some in Jungle, but they focus more on used, and vintage figures. The best shop we found is called Super kids land, there we were able to find the Gundam and Evangelion figures for a pretty good price. come join us for another adventure in Osaka.

Hi, join us as we tour around den den town which is considered as the akihabara of osaka; let me show you a huge selection of anime toys, manga and other gaming goods. Afterwards, let's head straight to kuromon ichiba market which is also nicknamed as osaka's kitchen where I tasted the most fresh salmon and tuna sashimi I have ever tried. We ended the day by shopping at shinsaibashi and daiso.

Namba Parks | Luke's Lobster | Nipponbashi Denden Town | Osaka Japan
First of all thanks for watching the video!
This was our third full day in Japan, Osaka. We woke up and headed to go to Namba Parks, on the way we found a bunch of cool shops so decided to do some shopping. Purchasing a bunch of stuff from the X Large store and checking out a bunch of others.
Before Namba Parks we stopped for some tea and a delicious hot chocolate! Then we went up to Namba parks where it was absolutely freezing with a strong breeze!
After that we grabbed some wasabi lobster rolls from Luke's Lobster which where as amazing as they had been hyped up to be!
After that we did a bit more shoping and made our way to the technology district Nipponbashi, which was a fun out of this world place.
Then we grabbed some some Takoyaki before heading back to our hotel.
We then shortly headed out grabbing some delicious beef dinner from a great restaurant and spending the rest of the night exploring the city and buying sunglasses for Leonie. In the end she successfully managed to get some Tom Ford Sunglasses she was very happy with.
