A nostalgic journey on this vintage locomotives left in the world that is fueled by wood, in beautifully-restored, historic green carriages. In this video, you can also see how people show their joy and greetings along the railway. It's very interesting!

Kota Kinabalu(コタキナバル)の一大メインツアー、
North Borneo Train(北ボルネオ鉄道)ツアーです。
このツアーを大変楽しみにしていました。
初めての蒸気機関車。
いや、初めてではない、確かディズニーランドで乗った記憶がありますが、一般の線路をはしるのは初めての体験です。
ドッキングするところから見学もでき、
折り返し地点では
機関車トーマスのように機関車をぐるっと回す装置も！
初めてのことばかりでなかなか良い体験をしました。
この北ボルネオ鉄道はプテリハーバーホテルが運営しているので、
乗車しているスタッフは皆さんホテルのスタッフです。
ですので、サービスは普通に良いです。
が、メニューに書かれていたアイスクリームを配布忘れ～
何だかマレーシアらしい一面も見れました。

Borneo Train Kota Kinabalu to Beaufort, Sabah, Malaysia 2014
In April 2014, I traveled to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. I was able to sample to trains on my visit. This is the train from Kota Kinabalu (K.K.) to Beaufort. The K.K. train station is near the airport. The trip takes about 2 hrs. All coaches are open-window. Enjoy!

RAILWAY crossing at Sembulan - The last train in North Borneo
Taken on 8 Sept 2014, this train cross the road and nearly hit one stupid driver who came too close to the gate, but missed that in the clip
This is the last train in Borneo, and was initially built by the British Colonial Government. To date Sabah has not even added an inch to the length of the railway, but instead the tracks to Weston and Kota Kinabalu Ports have long been removed in favour of modern roads. Now the railway ends at Beaufort and near the Federal Building in Kota Kinabalu
