The Marines will be joined by Navy and Coast Guard service members. They will head out of the Police Memorial, turning south onto the West Side Hwy, passing through Battery PI, crossing through Bridge St, heading north up Broad St and turning west onto Liberty St.
The Marines will arrive outside of FDNY Engine 10/Ladder 10 on Liberty Street (1 block west of Church St) where participants will observe a moment of silence and will then proceed to the 9/11 Memorial to lay a wreath at the ground zero site.
The Quantico Marine Band will play on the steps of Federal Hall at 8:30 a.m. during the run and again during the memorial ceremony at ground zero.
The full timeline is as follows:

Approximately 6,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen will descend upon the city to celebrate the 25th Fleet Week New York, which will take place May 23-30. In addition, this year we will celebrate the bi-centennial of the War of 1812. Fleet Week has been New York City's celebration of the sea services since 1984. Statue of JOHN CABOT (Giovanni Caboto) 'Master Navigator' who set sail for North America in 1497
The statue of John Cabot on Bristol Docks - about to set sail from Bristol in May 1497 to North America.
John Cabot (Giovanni Caboto c. 1450 – c. 1500) was an Italian navigator and explorer. His reputed discovery of parts of North America in 1497 were under the commission of Henry VII of England. He is said to have been the first European to explore the mainland of N. America after the Viking's eleventh century discovery of Vinland. John Cabot's landing site is thought to be at Cape Bonavista, Newfoundland.
Europe:
Europe is a continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. Europe is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. It comprises the westernmost part of Eurasia. Europe is generally considered as separated from Asia by the watershed divides of the Ural and Caucasus Mountains, the Ural River, the Caspian and Black Seas, and the waterways of the Turkish Straits.[5] Yet the non-oceanic boundary between Europe and Asia—a concept dating back to classical antiquity—is arbitrary and amounts to a historical and social construct. The primarily physiographic term continent as applied to Europe also incorporates cultural and political elements whose discontinuities are not always reflected by the continent's current overland boundary with Asia.
Canada:
Canada (/ˈkænədə/; French: [kanadɑ]) is a country which is located in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98 million square kilometres (3.85 million square miles), making it the world's second-largest country by total area, and the fourth-largest country by land area. Canada's southern border with the United States is the world's longest bi-national land border. The majority of the country has a cold or severely cold winter climate, but southern areas are warm in summer. Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land territory being dominated by forest and tundra and the Rocky Mountains. It is highly urbanized with 82 percent of the 35.15 million people concentrated in large and medium-sized cities, many near the southern border. Its capital is Ottawa, and its three largest metropolitan areas are Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
United States:
The United States of America (USA), commonly known as the United States (U.S.) or America (/əˈmɛrɪkə/), is a federal republic[16][17] composed of 50 states, a federal district, five major self-governing territories, and various possessions.[fn 6] Forty-eight states and the federal district are contiguous and located in North America between Canada and Mexico. The state of Alaska is in the northwest corner of North America, bordered by Canada to the east and across the Bering Strait from Russia to the west. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific Ocean. The U.S. territories are scattered about the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, stretching across nine official time zones. The extremely diverse geography, climate and wildlife of the United States make it one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries.[19]
At 3.8 million square miles (9.8 million km2)[20] and with over 324 million people, the United States is the world's third- or fourth-largest country by total area,[fn 7] and the third-most populous. The capital is Washington, D.C., and the largest city is New York City; twelve other major metropolitan areas—each with at least 4.5 million inhabitants—are Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Riverside.
Happy Thanksgiving from the Mayflower Ship in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
Happy Thanksgiving holiday season from The Mayflower Ship in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
The Mayflower was the ship that in 1620 transported mostly English Puritans and Separatists, collectively known today as the Pilgrims, from Plymouth England to the New World. There were 102 passengers and the crew is estimated to be approximately 30 but the exact number is unknown. This voyage has become an iconic story in some of the earliest annals of American history, with its story of death and of survival in the harsh New World winter environment. The culmination of the voyage in the signing of the Mayflower Compact is an event which established a rudimentary form of democracy, with each member contributing to the welfare of the community.

2016 Lake of the Ozarks Crazy Party Cove (best of)
Party Cove is the popular name given for Anderson Hollow Cove, a cove in Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri that according to The New York Times is the “oldest established permanent floating bacchanal in the country.[1]
Various places in the lake have received the name since the 1960s but the informal event has been pushed out by private owners until since 1996 when it moved to Anderson Hollow Cove within the confines of Lake of the Ozarks State Park at the 4 mile marker of the Grand Glaize Arm of the lake a mile south of the Grand Glaize Bridge.
The cove itself is about a mile long and 200 yards wide. On summer weekends as many 3,000 pleasure boats with around 8,000 aboard gather in the cove lining up in two rows with newcomers running a gauntlet of water cannon and taunts to take their clothes off (although the Kansas City Star reports that the overwhelming number of visitors in the fraternity house environment are male).[2] Produced by Shawn Kober a Big Planet Media Production contact us at bigplanetmedia.com 660-864-3423
