Take the Tour Norwegian Lady
Norwegian Lady Statues are located in the sister cities of Moss, a coastal town and municipality in the county of Østfold, Norway, and at the Oceanfront (boardwalk) in the coastal resort city of Virginia Beach, Virginia in the United States. They commemorate the lives lost in the 1891 shipwreck of the Norwegian barque Dictator off the coast of Virginia Beach and the lifesaving efforts of the community.

This video was taken in the early morning, and it shows footage of the Atlantic Ocean with breathtaking sunrise views and Virginia Beach Boardwalk attractions. These include King Neptune, a twenty-four foot, twelve-ton bronze statue that stands at the gateway to Neptune Festival Park on 31st Street. The Norwegian Lady statue stands in front of a group of statues which are part of the new Naval Aviation Monument Park. There is a peace pole, which shows the name boards of sister cities and a historical Coast Guard Station Museum. The video was taken Memorial Day Monday at a peaceful time that was not too crowded.

Places to see in ( Virginia Beach - USA )
Virginia Beach, a coastal city in southeastern Virginia, lies where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. A 3-mile boardwalk stretches along its beach-lined oceanfront. The bayside First Landing State Park marks the 1607 arrival of the Jamestown colonists from England. The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center exhibits ocean life including sharks, rays and sea turtles in globally themed habitats.
Virginia Beach offers the classic beach vacation, and maintains a long-standing reputation as a family-friendly oceanfront resort. Visitors are greeted by a 300-foot wide beach lined by Virginia Beach’s three-mile concrete oceanfront Boardwalk. The resort offers a mild climate year-round. Itineraries include lazy days on the beach, the state parks and Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge beckon, hiking, kayaking, and biking adventures. Fishing, golfing, whale watching, dolphin watching, historic landmarks, and exciting attractions and popular events are part of the Beach experience.
With 35 miles of sandy beaches, a 3-mile concrete oceanfront boardwalk and nearby outdoor activities, it's no surprise that Virginia Beach is a prime tourist destination. The city has worked hard to shed its reputation as a rowdy 'Redneck Riviera,' and hey, the beach is wider and cleaner now and there are fewer louts. Beach aside, you'll find some lovely parks and nature sites beyond the crowded high-rises lining the shore. Expect thick crowds, heavy traffic and high prices if visiting in the summer.

Environmental Activists Arrested on the Steps of the VA Capitol
About 10 environmental protesters, including at least one VCU student, were arrested today after refusing to leave the steps of the state Capitol. The arrests occurred after approximately 800 people marched to protest recent state permits granted for Dominion Power to dump treated coal ash into the James River. The protest also targeted the company's plans for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. Video by Margaret Carmel.
5 REAL Places That Could Be PORTALS to Another DIMENSION
The idea of parallel universes and various planes of existence have been entertained by the brightest minds of our ancient past as well as by deep-rooted spiritual practices and religious beliefs. But in our modern era, some people have even gone so far as to identify which areas are currently hiding portals, stargates or passageways which grant access to worlds and dimensions beyond our own.

25 Photos Before Trouble Strikes
From mayhem on motor bikes, to sneaky dropkicks,These are 25 Photos Before Trouble Strikes.
Subscribe to American Eye
12. Mountain Climbing Mayhem
Mountain climbing can certainly be a fun sport to partake in from time to time but many don’t always realize how dangerous it can be. This guy thought he could simply climb up this cliffside, where many birds call home, without getting attacked! Boy was he wrong. These crazy birds start attacking this poor guy who must have left some bread crumbs in his pocket and the catastrophe is just about to happen but we’re gonna move onto the next one.
11. Goose on the Loose
This guy was calmly riding his bike through the park a big goose comes out of nowhere! Many people underestimate the power of these birds and they can easily knock you over with one good swoop! Hopefully he still has both eyeballs after this catastrophe is over with.
10. Granny With a Gat
Listen up kids, this is how you use an automatic rifle. This grandma might seem like an innocent old lady but she’s packing some serious heat. After she asked the teenagers down the block to stop skateboarding on the sidewalk, they just didn’t listen she decided to show them she meant business. You can bet your money safely that no one’s trick or treating here anymore.
9. The Painful Pole
If you’re learning to skateboard you have to understand that you’re going to fall and hurt yourself many times before you’ll be able to get good. If you thought your girlfriend busted your balls, it’s really nothing compared to this rail. Grinding down rails is certainly a trick for more advanced skateboard and can definitely result in unimaginable pain! Within in the next fraction of a second, there’s about to be a catastrophe for his family jewels.
8. Hurricane Irene
This photo was apparently captured right before hurricane irene strikes the coast of Virginia beach in 2011. A storm is certainly coming and it turned out to be the 7th most costly hurricane in the United States. It affected many parts of the east coast including the caribbean and all the way up to Nova Scotia.
7. Getting Wrecked
The WWE can have some pretty intense moments and people can get absolutely wrecked if they’re not paying full attention. The Bella twins are having a peaceful conversation about how good they look, when out of nowhere one of the gets an intense surprise drop kick to the back! Even if wrestling is fake, that’s still gotta hurt right?
6. Stacked to the Max
Hey how tall can we stack all of these baskets? I don’t know let’s see! The kid on the left side is running away as if the tower of baskets is going to explode! Who’s responsible for the sabotage of this tower? Could it be the government?
5. Pony Punch
This pony really didn’t feel like giving this girl a ride today. Every girl out there dreams of having a pony but they don’t always realize how aggressive they can truly be. Taking it back to the pony shop certainly isn’t an option and they’re just gonna have to learn to get along!
4. Why!!!
How could you do this to me, i thought we were frieeeeds! Clearly not and this guy planned a meeting with this guy on the roof of a skyscraper for in a dramatic example of betrayal. Or the whole thing is staged. Either way its a pretty cool photo.
3. Belly Flop
Some claim that after this photo was taken Japan was devastated by a massive tsunami and many lost their lives. Going in belly first, it caused a massive wave which flooded many coastal towns and even destroyed a power plant. Thanks a lot buddy!
2. May Day
The tremble in the earth even caused this cargo ship in the ocean to tip over. Box cars are flying into the water and all your valuable products you ordered online that were made in China are going to be late! Lord have mercy!
1.Walmart Fail
Cleanup on aisle 3, whe have a code blue!! If only you could have gotten out of the scooter for 5 seconds to get that 12 pack for Coca Cola, maybe this catastrophe wouldn’t have happened. Just saying

US Army Women's Museum Part 2
The U.S. Army Women's Museum, now located on Fort Lee, Virginia, is the only museum in the world dedicated to Army women. The Museum honors women's contributions to the Army. From Bunker Hill to a bunker in Iraq, women have always been there. The museum depicts these contributions through interactive exhibits and videos throughout the gallery, as well as film presentations in the museum theater. The museum also has an extensive research and learning center, and memorial garden.
This is Part Two of a two part series.
