【4K】Windy day in Numazu, Shizuoka
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
I was asked to go to Numazu multiple times and now I did it. It was filmed next day after Niiigata and same day as Atami video.
Not sure is it just such weather or place itself, but it was very windy.
I walked from the station through the city, along the river, to port where I got to the top of sea gates.

沼津は昔からよく訪問していて、今までに数百回訪れている。久しぶりに沼津市を訪れた。平成２５年（２０１３年）７月６日。沼津駅周辺・市街地をドライブした。
駿河湾に臨む伊豆半島の付け根、愛鷹山の麓に位置する港町である。 東駿河湾地域の中心都市であり沼津都市圏を形成する。
古来、東海道の陸路と海路を繋ぐ交通拠点であり、江戸時代には沼津城が築かれ東海道の宿場町として栄えるなど人・物・情報の交流拠点として、この地域の政治経済や商業、文化の中心的役割を担ってきた。
気候が温暖である他、箱根や伊豆半島や富士山への観光拠点としても便利な立地条件でもあるため、保養地としても発達した。 明治時代から1969年に亘っては、政財界の著名人が別荘を建てて、皇室も沼津御用邸を構えたために、「海の有る軽井沢」とも称された。 井上靖を初めとする文人墨客所縁の地でもある。
水産業が盛んであり、干物の「鯵の開き」、「雑節」の生産は市ごとの統計が廃止される2005年（平成17年）まで日本一の規模であった他、近年では新鮮な魚介類を求め沼津港を訪れる観光客が増加している。 だがここ十数年間では経済状況が悪化し、人口の減少が続いている。
