5 -09-15 Beach Slamming Waves- Kailua Kona, Hawaii
To use this video in a commercial player, advertising or in broadcasts, please email Viral Spiral: deals@viralspiralgroup.com
I was going to call it How tourists die in Hawaii but, didn't want to scare people from coming here. This is White Sands Beach Park. Also known as Magic Sands, Tragic Slams and more. Located on Ali'i Dr. Large surf generally takes all the sand away in the winter. Sometimes in the summer too if we get a large enough WSW swell. There are menacing rocks just underneath that sand. Best know how to go over the falls of a wave correctly or you'll be getting to know our local emergency room personnel. By the way, they are very nice at the ER.
This day we had a moderate SSW swell. Most often tourists neglect to watch what's going on before venturing out into the ocean. Even when the lifeguard warns people they still go out and either get injured or need to be rescued.
When the surf is pounding dislocated shoulders neck and back injuries are common here. Lifeguards had to do a few rescues. Sometimes the fire Dept parks at the street just waiting for the next victim.
Myself, I surfed 3 hours elsewhere that day and was on my way home and decided to stop and get some of the action on my GoPro Hero 3+.
The video starts out in the narrow view. Not as sharp as in medium or wide. Also shot in Protune flat at 60fps. 1080p so, watch at the highest setting. Was hoping for it to look better. Maybe next time. Sun was in and out.
Be sure and subscribe to my blog for future photo and video updates.

Ali'i Drive, Kailua Kona, Hawaii 4K
Please enjoy a mid-morning 45 minute walk down Ali'i drive from the Royal Kona Resort down to the harbor. I stop and take lots of short video clips up and down Ali'i Drive to give you the feel of the town. This video was shot on February 24th, 2017.
Ali'i Drive is the main street in Kailua-Kona on the western side of Island of Hawaii, United States. It is a coastal road, which faces the Bay of Kailua, which is home to many historical sites, resort hotels, souvenir shops, markets and churches.
Ali'i Drive starts from the crossing with Kuakini Highway, just north of Kailua Pier, and ends at Keauhou Shopping Center in Keauhou, with the northern part of the drive being busiest.
At Kailua Pier, passengers from cruise ships come ashore by launches. Along the road are souvenir shops for tourists as well as local businesses, a farmers' market and many resort hotels of varying sizes.
The historical sites are: Ahuena Heiau where King Kamehameha spent his retired life, the Hulihee Palace which was used by the royal family of the Hawaiian Kingdom, Mokuaikaua Church which was the first church in Hawaii, and St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Big Island (Hawai'i Island), Hawaii 4K (UHD)
Recorded: May 2019
This is one of the three Hawaiian islands that I decided to visit. I spent three days there, drove 345 miles by car and visited, incl. the places described below.
I think that three days on such a large island is a bit too little. The distances between the points to travel are longer than on other Hawaiian islands.
Big Island, or Hawaiʻi Island is the largest and the southeasternmost island located in the U.S. state of Hawaii. The island of Hawaiʻi is the third largest island in Polynesia, behind the two main islands of New Zealand. Administratively, the whole island encompasses Hawaiʻi County. The county seat and largest city is Hilo where I lived.

Big Island Hawaii Land for Sale. Keaau Properties with Natural Artesian Water. MLS 264889 & 264890
Incredible Big Island of Hawaii Property for Sale. Water, the source of life, is indeed the world's most precious commodity. Water is highly valued in all cultures and no matter how you say it: Japanese, mizu, Spanish, aqua, Chinese, shui, Russian, vody, French, eau, Hawaiian, wai, Hindi, pani and Swahili, maji, water is the single most critical factor to life. This Keaau property sits on top of aquifers 8,000-12,000 feet below. These aquifers are fed by waters from the largest mountain on earth, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa which is a close second. The combination of underground flowing porous lava fields working as nature's filter, and the high elevation of these 2 mountains creates a unique eco-system transforming artic moisture to bountiful, pure rain. The slopes of these mountains feed the Keaau aquifer almost 200 inches of pure rainwater per year. This translates to approx. 1.38 billion++ gallons per day. Besides this amazing water source, this property has in place transferable Special Use Permits approved by the County of Hawaii for development of a brewery, distillery or soft drink facility and, a beer garden/visitors center-see renderings. The owner's vision offers a truly unique combination for location (tourism), opportunity (fastest growing population) and resources (free, pure water) to create the next Made in Hawaii success story. The next owner will have entitlements to a percentage of the water production; there is no charge for use of the artesian spring water. Recently a US Geological Survey concluded that the waters of Keaau are among the purest in the world. These are considered young and natural artesian springs which delivers bountiful and pure water from one of the world's most remote eco-systems with minimal human interference or processing. As part of the Northeast Mauna Loa Sector area which includes the Hilo and Keaau Aquifer System Area, the water is accessed via a well system built in 1981 and has a pump intake located at a depth of 241 feet. Seller financing available; see MLS 264890.

The Big Island, Hawaii Drone Footage | 4K Stress reduction by viewing nature scenes
This video used about 20 hours for 7 days to capture the magnificent view of the island of Hawaii. We hope that this footage has the effect of reducing stress and improving sleeplessness. Just looking at nature has been shown to be effective in reducing stress. [Ulrich, R.(1984)] So I created this with high-definition 4K video and natural sounds. The aerial image shot the scenery of the island of Hawaii using DJI MAVIC AIR. We used EDIUS Pro 9 for video editing. The video content is , a beach, a sunset, a meadow, a lava plateau, a valley, and a plant. The flight scene was taken as slow as possible and for a long time to create a floating sensation.

Ulrich, R.(1984). View through a window may influence recovery. Science, 224, 224-225.

Records on recovery after cholecystectomy of patients in a suburban Pennsylvania hospital between 1972 and 1981 were examined to determine whether assignment to a room with a window view of a natural setting might have restorative influences. Twenty-three surgical patients assigned to rooms with windows looking out on a natural scene had shorter postoperative hospital stays, received fewer negative evaluative comments in nurses' notes, and took fewer potent analgesics than 23 matched patients in similar rooms with windows facing a brick building wall.
