Frankfurt (Oder) und Słubice laden zum HanseStadtFest »Bunter Hering«, dem größten Stadtfest seiner Art in Ostbrandenburg, ein. Vom 8. bis 10. Juli 2016 findet unter dem Motto »Der Bunte Hering tanzt« in der Doppelstadt ein buntes Treiben statt, darunter eine große Kirmes, professionelle und unterhaltsame Sport-Events und Live-Musik.

Tramway life in Frankfurt an der Oder:
0:04-GT6M low-floor tram at the Oderturm junction, with a Tatra KT4Dm in the background
0:11- Riding one of the Tatras through the junction... it's a bit noisy I would say :)
0:23- Dresdner Platz
0:35- Interior of a GT6M
0:48- Dresdner Platz, looking in the other way
0:57- Do these Tatras still have a PCC-type accelerator? The strong cooling suggests so.
1:07- a bit more KT4-riding
1:20- This stretch around Heinrich-Hildebrand-Strasse looks a bit like the Stadtbahn-like fast tram lines in former Czechoslovakia
1:42- An old industrial housing area along the tram
1:52- and for a change, some running through the woods
2:07- the visual information panel at Dresdner Platz
2:14- Passing under the railway near Hauptbahnhof. Note that the next tram is already behind the first one.

Der Oderturm is a 24-storey, 95 m office skyscraper in Frankfurt , Germany, built between 1968 and 1976 when the city was part of East Germany.It is arguably the tallest office building in Brandenburg, with a mobile telephony mast.Its 89 m roof is 1 m less than that of the Stern-Plaza in Potsdam, built in 1998.The 107 m hall containing Tropical Islands and the 161 m steam generator at Schwarze Pumpe power station are taller structures, though they lack occupied floors.

Besuch auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt Frankfurt (Oder) 2016
Wir waren auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in Frankfurt (Oder).
Es war sehr toll dort, nur leider habe ich es nicht geschafft, alles zu filmen.
Das Video ist mal ein anderes Video als sonst und wenn ich mal solche Aktivitäten wieder mache, vielleicht nehme ich dann wieder solch ein Video auf. Viel Spaß beim schauen!

Am Freitag waren die AfD-Abgeordneten Thomas Jung und Dr. Rainer van Raemdonck in einem gemeinsamen Informationszentrum der Deutschen und Polnischen Polizei, das die Zusammenarbeit der Behörden beider Länder erleichtern und unterstützen soll.

Um ca. 9:30 am 4.06.09 wurde wieder das Feueralarm im Gräfin-Dönhoff-Gebäude der Europa Universität Viadrina aktiviert, wahrscheinlich infolge einer Systemstörung. Der Löschzug der Berufsfeuerwehr Frankfurt (Oder) HLF Mercedes Atego/Rosenbauer und DLK 23-12 Mercedes/Magirus - sowie ein KEF (MB Sprinter) der BF, das sich in der Gegend befand, waren in ca. 4 Minuten vor Ort. Als festgestellt wurde, das es keine Gefahr gab, konnten die evakurierten Studenten ins 'GD' für ihre Vorlesungen zurückziehen. Das war bereits der zweite Einsatz der Frankfurter Feuerwehr im 'GD' innerhalb von 2 Tagen.

Ok. 9:30, 4.06.09 ponownie włączył się alarm przeciwpożarowy w budynku 'Gräfin Dönhoff' Europejskiego Uniwersytetu Viadrina, przyczyną była prawdopodobnie awaria systemu. Po ok. 4 minutach na miejscu pojawiły się zadysponowane siły i środki Zawodowej Straży Pożarnej miasta Frankfurt nad Odrą GBA MB Atego/Rosenbauer, SD-30 oraz SLRr MB Sprinter, który akurat znajdował się w okolicy. Gdy tylko upewniono się, ze nie ma niebezpieczeństwa, ewakuowani uprzednio studenci mogli wrócić na wykłady do 'GD'. Był to drugi fałszywy alarm w GD w ciągu dwóch dni.

[Frankfurt (Oder), Germany] On 4/06/2009, at around 9:30 am, an automatic fire alarm went off at the Gräfin Dönhoff Building of the European University Viadrina, probably due to a system failure. Within about 4 minutes, 3 appliances of the Frankfurt (Oder) Professional Fire Service, a Mercedes Atego/Rosenbauer rescue pump, a Mercedes/Magirus 30m/100ft turntable ladder and a Mercedes Sprinter van (which happened to be in the area), arrived at the campus. As soon as the necessary checks were done, the evacuees could return back to 'GD' for their lectures. It was the second incident of this kind within two days.
