Two women, Nawal Masaad and Amal El-Wahabi, accused of smuggling money to fund terrorism in Syria, arrived at the Old Bailey Court in London on Monday.
Masaad, 26 was caught smuggling €20,000 in her underwear on Heathrow airport in January, on her way to Turkey.
Prosecutors claim Nawal Masaad, a 26-year-old student, was allegedly recruited by Amal El-Wahabi, a 27-year-old mother of two, to take the money to Istanbul where she would rendezvous with El-Wahabi's husband, who is believed to be involved in in terrorism in Syria.
Masaad entered court early and had changed her appearance from the previous week, when she dressed in a white suit and donned a Channel bag. She had cut her hair, dressed down in a casual blue top, jeans and pumps and wore large dark sunglasses and kept her head down until well inside the court.
El-Wahabi entered court hiding her face under a scarf. At one point she lashed out and pushed a photographer away who was trying to take photos of her.

Tommy Robinson enters the Old Bailey, London for his sentencing
The former English Defence League (EDL) founder, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was found to have committed contempt of court (right, in Leeds in May 2018) following a two-day hearing at the Old Bailey last week. His supporters, including five women on mobility scooters, waved Union flags outside the court in London today amid a heavy police presence (left and centre) as people chanted his name and 'We want Tommy out'. Robinson walked through a throng of people to get to the court this morning, wearing black jeans and a black T-shirt, which said 'convicted of journalism' on the front and 'Britain = North Korea' on the back. But Robinson, who attended media law training in June 2017, was ten minutes late for the start of his hearing after speaking to his supporters outside the court, with the judge telling him: 'It's not a very good start.'

The Old Bailey
The Central Criminal Court of England and Wales (commonly called the Old Bailey, after the street on which it stands) is a court in London and one of a number of buildings housing the Crown Court.
Part of the present building stands on the site of the medieval Newgate gaol, on a road named Old Bailey that follows the line of the City of London's fortified wall (or bailey), which runs from Ludgate Hill to the junction of Newgate Street and Holborn Viaduct.
The Old Bailey has been housed in several structures near this location since the sixteenth century, and its present building dates from 1902.
The present Old Bailey building dates from 1902 but it was officially opened on 27 February 1907. It was designed by E. W. Mountford and built on the site of the infamous Newgate Prison, which was demolished to allow the court buildings to be constructed. Above the main entrance is inscribed the admonition: Defend the Children of the Poor & Punish the Wrongdoer.
King Edward VII opened the courthouse.
Lady Justice statue on the top of the court building On the dome above the court stands a bronze statue of Lady Justice, executed by the British sculptor F. W. Pomeroy. She holds a sword in her right hand and the scales of justice in her left.
The statue is popularly supposed to show blind Justice, however, the figure is not blindfolded: the courthouse brochures explain that this is because Lady Justice was originally not blindfolded, and because her maidenly form is supposed to guarantee her impartiality which renders the blindfold redundant.

A man from Lincoln who admitted to sending 'Punish a Muslim Day' letters to politicians and Muslims, appeared at the Old Bailey Court in London on Friday to receive his sentencing.
On October 12, the 35-year-old British national pleaded guilty to 15 offenses, including soliciting murder and staging a bomb hoax, after having sent letters containing the phrase 'Punish a Muslim Day' to Muslim politicians, former Prime Minister David Cameron and the Queen, among others. Threatening letters were also sent to other Muslims, and to mosques, some of the containing suspicious white powders.
Hoax bomb letters linked to Parnham date back to 2007.
The court is awaiting a doctor’s assessment, requested by the presiding judge, and will adjourn before handing him a sentence, according to the Old Bailey.
