This is the second panel discussion in a series called the Modern Lyceum organized by the Walden Woods Project. This discussion was held on April 14, 2016 at the Old South Meeting House in Boston. The panelists Megan Marshall, a Pulitzer Prize winning author, Dr. Lawrence Buell, a Harvard professor of American literature, and Jeffrey S. Cramer, curator at the Thoreau Institute spoke and informed about education in the 19th century and today.
