This mosque is also called Osman Shah masjid. It is a recently restored 16th century mosque and is believed to be the most beautiful mosque in Greece. It was built by the great architect Mimar Sinan, of Greek ancestry. It is his only work still found on Greek soil; to the south of the mosque there is the mausoleum of Osman Shah, a probable nephew of Suleyman the Magnificent, who commissioned the mosque. Stef's walk from Yeni Cami to Eski Cami.
Here Stef Keris is walking through the old, traditional centre of Komotini from one landmark (Yeni Camii-New Mosque) to the other, Eski Camii (Old Mosque). The viewers get a good idea about Muslim life in Komotini.

Το Σάββατο 27 Ιουνίου, στις 20:00, η Μαρία Εκμεκτσίογλου μας ξεναγεί στο Εντιρνέ,
τη γνωστή Αδριανούπολη.
Η περιήγηση ξεκινά με περίπατο στον κεντρικό πεζόδρομο της πόλης, όπου δοκιμάζουμε γλυκά και τοπικές σπεσιαλιτέ, όπως τα γνωστά συκωτάκια του Εντιρνέ. Έπειτα, επισκεπτόμαστε το Εσκί τζαμί, το αρχαιότερο από τα τρία κεντρικά, ιστορικά τζαμιά της Αδριανούπολης, με υπέροχο εσωτερικό σχεδιασμό και τεράστια calligraphics στους τοίχους. Βγαίνοντας από το τζαμί, γευόμαστε παραδοσιακές λιχουδιές, σε ένα πανηγύρι στημένο αποκλειστικά από γυναίκες της περιοχής.
Στη συνέχεια, μεταφερόμαστε στο μεγάλο παζάρι του Ούλους, λίγο πιο έξω από την πόλη. Εκεί, η Μαρία ψωνίζει λαχανικά και μαγειρεύει «μαντζάνα», σε ένα μπαλκόνι με υπέροχη θέα. Επιστρέφουμε στο Εντιρνέ και μπαίνουμε στο μεγαλοπρεπές Σελιμιγιέ Τζαμί, το σημαντικότερο έργο του μεγάλου αρχιτέκτονα Σινάν, με το οποίο «στόλισε» την αγαπημένη του Αδριανούπολη. Το τζαμί στέκεται επιβλητικά επάνω στον λόφο της πόλης και διακρίνεται για τις τέλειες αρχιτεκτονικές γραμμές καθώς και για τον τεράστιο τρούλο του.
Μετά από μία ακόμη βόλτα σε ένα από τα παλαιότερα παζάρια του Ερντινέ, η Μαρία δοκιμάζει τοπικά γλυκά αλλά και τον παραδοσιακό ιτσλί κιοφτέ, σ’ ένα σύγχρονο φαστφουντάδικο. Έπειτα, φτιάχνει βερίκοκα και δαμάσκηνα αποξηραμένα, γεμιστά με κουσκούς και κιμά, στον κήπο μιας φίλης. Τελευταίος σταθμός, ο παλιός σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός, που σήμερα λειτουργεί ως τμήμα του πανεπιστημίου της πόλης, ενώ αποχαιρετούμε την Αδριανούπολη με έναν νυχτερινό περίπατο.

The tour starts with a walk to the main pedestrian street of the city, where we taste sweets and local specialties such as the famous livers of Edirne. Then visit the Eski Mosque, the oldest of the three central, historic mosques of Edirne, with beautiful interior design and a huge calligraphics walls. Leaving the mosque, tasting traditional dishes, a festival staged exclusively by local women.
Then we move to the big bazaar of Oulu, just outside the city. There, Maria shopping vegetables and cooks' mantzana on a balcony with great views. Return to Edirne and enter the grand Selimiye Mosque, the most important work of the great architect Sinan, which adorned the beloved Edirne. The mosque standing on the hill towering above the city and is distinguished for the perfect architectural lines and for the huge dome.
After another ride on one of the oldest bazaars of Erntine, Mary trying local sweets and the traditional itsli kiofte, in a modern fast food restaurant. Then makes apricots and plums dried, stuffed with couscous and meat, garden a friend. Last stop, the old railway station, now operates as part of the city's university and farewell Adrianople with a night walk.
