Sequim, Port Angeles, Hoods Canal & Oil Platform Road Trip - RV Travel Quest
This is our second week without the RV. We decided to take a road trip to the Olympic Peninsula, Washington.
We went on the Washington State Ferry to Sequim, then to Port Angeles to see the floating Oil Platform.
The next day we drove south along the Hoods Canal to Tacoma, and back up North to Everett. We had a wonderful Mothers
Day Weekend.

Mickey in The Wilderness - Madison Falls - Olympic National Park - Elwha Valley
Mickey in The Wilderness - Madison Falls Trail is located at Olympic National Park at the Elwha River Entrance in The Elwha Valley. Madison Falls Trail is wheelchair accessible on a short, paved, 200 feet path to the base of the falls. There is an accessible vault toilet near the parking lot. This beautiful cascading water fall is a majestic little giant. Don't let the size fool you, Madison Falls is has a 60-foot high cascade. It was a crisp spring day out on the Olympic Peninsula. The sun was shining through the tall trees as the winds gently touched the leaves at the very top giving the appearance of the trees performing a spring dance. The birds were chirping singing their ode de spring song. And to my surprise, I hear the gentle roar of the falls as I stood before this majestic little giant. I was mesmerized and almost hypnotized by the sound and watching the water fall over the mossy rocks, pool, and swiftly flow downstream. Oh Madison Falls, your beauty will forever be ingrained in my memory and when I think of you it makes me smile.
Please come out and make your own memories here at Olympic National Park. It is a once in a life time experience you must enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

♥About this vlog♥
The 2nd day of our Port Angeles trip we started by cheering our friend Rob at the half marathon finish line. He decided to do a half marathon before he turns 40, good for him! We then had brunch in Sequim, known for their lavender. Unfortunately, we were too early, the lavenders were not blooming yet.
We then headed to the Hurricane Ridge for beautiful views of the Washington State mountain, there was still snow on top!
We came back to our luxury cabin for dinner. Brian cooked up some premium steak. Everyone enjoyed the dinner very much, we ended the night with more fireworks!

March 2018 | Asian American Life
The Story of New York City can be told in many ways, through its streets, boulevards, and buildings, but most importantly through the stories of its people, including generations of new immigrants who arrived on the Lower East Side. Reporter Minnie Roh visits the The Tenement Museum “Under One Roof” exhibit.
Asian Americans are the fastest growing ethnic group in America, and that’s news to some people. But if you click through American TV Channels, you won’t see many Asian Americans reporting the news, and the chances are the ones you do see are women, not men. Reporter Kyung Yoon looks at the lack of representation of Asian American men in broadcast news.
Alcoholism is a hidden problem in the Asian American community. Reporter Mike Gilliam reports on the risk and health issues associated with alcoholism, and how alcohol anonymous is combating this disease.
In a world furnished with mass-produced goods, Miya Shoji, a small shop in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood goes against the grain by continuing the Japanese tradition of carpentry. Reporter Rayner Ramirez looks at the artist behind the woodwork.
AzN PoP! is the first and only all female Asian American comedy pop group in the East Coast. Reporter Ernabel Demillo went behind the scenes with the funniest women in comedy and entertainment.
Taped: 02/16/18
Ernabel Demillo is the host of Asian American Life, a monthly half hour series about the fastest-growing immigrant group in the country, focusing on Asian Americans in the tri-state area from over 40 countries who speak more than 150 different languages and dialects. Every month, an Asian enclave and neighborhood within the tristate area is featured. Cutting edge issues like racial profiling and stereotyping are examined and explored. Successful Asian Americans who are forging new identities in business, politics and the arts are also be profiled. Asian American Life is reaching new frontiers in the quest for understanding and acknowledgment among tri-state Asian Americans.
