Kurashiki Denim Street has shops selling nationally popular denim made in the Kojima district of Kurashiki City which has been seen as the birthplace of Japanese denim. The denim, whether it’s used in things such as jeans, one-piece dresses, and small articles, is of high quality, and its products which are known all over the world are available in great supply. At the food court, there is the popular ice cream with a blue color associated with denim.

I tried three muslim-friendly restaurants on my visit to Okayama, Japan.
1. Matsushita Udon
Udon is a Japanese traditional noodle, with light stock soup, and usually is eating with tempura (deep fried vegetables/seafood).

Hello! As I have promised on my Instagram acc (@altheashona) that I will post the second vlog on Saturday which is today!
On our second day in JENESYS Program, we finally got to Okayama Prefecture (notherly of Japan) by Shinkansen! Shinkansen by far is is the fastest train in the world with 581/km with 0% history of accidents. We arrived to Okayama for 3 hours from Tokyo Station.
Okayama Prefecture is amazing! I am in love with the city and planning to go back there as soon as i have enough money! hahaha!!!
The food that we had in our first night in Okayama was amazing! The fish, and other appetizer is halal and safe to consume. Perfect dish, I must say! I miss the food already!

1. Apa itu JENESYS 2016?
JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) adalah program G2G (government to government) yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah Jepang dengan negara Asia bagian Timur. Pada tanggal 17 - 25 April 2017, telah dikirim batch ke-8 dari Indonesia sebanyak 24 orang.
Batch kali ini mengusung tema Small and Medium Entreprises dan khususnya untuk Indonesia mendapatkan tema terfokus yaitu, Muslim Tourism.
Dengan menggunakan Shinkansen (Bullet Train) kami pun bersama delegasi Brunei, pergi ke wilayah Okayama.
2. Kok namanya JENESYS 2016 padahal berangkatnya tahun 2017?
Karena ini adalah lanjutan program dari tahun 2016, dan kebetulan kami adalah delegasi batch yang ke-8! :)
3. Kok bisa aku dapet kesempatan menjadi peserta JENESYS 2016?
Singkat cerita karena Desember 2016, aku dapat kesempatan untuk praktik kerja di Kemlu, Direktorat Sosial Budaya Kerja Sama ASEAN. Dari sana dapat informasi mengenai acara ini, dan mecoba untuk daftar. Puji Tuhan, diterima sebagai salah satu perwakilan delegasi Indonesia. yey!
