My first xc attempt towards Trichonida lake, after gainig 1800 m asl... Satisfied, but should have followed a heading 20o more to north... Giorgos reached the landing field, about 200 meters higher due to a better course and managed to reach Paravola's slope (our aim), gaining altitude there (900 m asl). Enough to complete our task to the lakeside cafe's at Dougri, but he decided to land to my spot. I should know better, but next time..!

Nur 20 Gehminuten vom Biohotel Balance liegt die Gorge du Dailley. In dieser Schlucht stürzt mit ohrenbetäubendem Tosen ein mehrere hundert Meter hoher Wasserfalls in die Tiefen des Tales. Vor mehr als 100 Jahren verlief ein schmaler Pfad über Brücken und Holzrampen nach oben - für die Bauern der einzige Weg zu ihren Almen. Mit dem Bau einer Straße geriet der Weg in Vergessenheit und zerfiel. In den vergangen 20 Jahren haben die Einwohner von Les Granges diesen Weg wieder aufgebaut. O Grupo Vespa Amigos Madeira visitou, no dia 10 de Maio, o Parque Temático da Madeira. O grupo, com cerca de 35 pessoas, iniciou a visita com um almoço no Restaurante Típico do Parque Temático da Madeira, após terem estacionado as suas relíquias para exibição junto ao lago. De várias cores e modelos, as vespas despertaram a curiosidade dos visitantes que aproveitaram a oportunidade para tirar fotografias.
Após o almoço, que permitiu, não só saborear as iguarias tradicionais, mas sobretudo partilhar um momento de convívio e confraternização entre os membros do grupo, os Vespa Amigos Madeira partiram em busca das atracções do Parque Temático da Madeira.
