Visiting Niagara Falls In Ontario Canada
In this adventure I head to Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada to capture this breathtaking natural wonder. Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls and can be viewed from both Canada and the United States Of America. The falls drop between 69ft and 187ft and have a span of between 1,050ft and 2,590ft depending on where you view them from.
In this video I take a look around the area closest to the Horseshoe falls and capture footage of the falls from various different angles. I also share footage of the falls at night as large LED's panels shine onto them.

Driving Downtown Streets - Niagara Parkway - Niagara Falls Ontario Canada - Episode 72.
Starting Point: .
Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States; more specifically, between the province of Ontario and the state of New York. They form the southern end of the Niagara Gorge.
From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls lie mostly on the Canadian side and the American Falls entirely on the American side, separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls are also on the American side, separated from the other waterfalls by Luna Island. The international boundary line was originally drawn through Horseshoe Falls in 1819, but the boundary has long been in dispute due to natural erosion and construction.
Located on the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls form the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world that has a vertical drop of more than 165 feet (50 m). Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America, as measured by vertical height and flow rate.[2] The falls are 17 miles (27 km) north-northwest of Buffalo, New York, and 75 miles (121 km) south-southeast of Toronto, between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, New York.
Niagara Falls were formed when glaciers receded at the end of the Wisconsin glaciation (the last ice age), and water from the newly formed Great Lakes carved a path through the Niagara Escarpment en route to the Atlantic Ocean. While not exceptionally high, the Niagara Falls are very wide. More than six million cubic feet (168,000 m3) of water falls over the crest line every minute in high flow,[3] and almost four million cubic feet (110,000 m3) on average.
The Niagara Falls are renowned both for their beauty and as a valuable source of hydroelectric power. Balancing recreational, commercial, and industrial uses has been a challenge for the stewards of the falls since the 19th century.
Tourism
Peak visitor traffic occurs in the summertime, when Niagara Falls are both a daytime and evening attraction. From the Canadian side, floodlights illuminate both sides of the falls for several hours after dark (until midnight). The number of visitors in 2007 was expected to total 20 million, and by 2009 the annual rate was expected to top 28 million tourists.[74]
The oldest and best known tourist attraction at Niagara Falls is the Maid of the Mist boat cruise, named for an ancient Ongiara Indian mythical character, which has carried passengers into the rapids immediately below the falls since 1846. Cruise boats operate from boat docks on both sides of the falls.
Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls is a city in Ontario, Canada. The city is dominated by the Niagara Falls, a world-famous set of three large waterfalls on the Niagara River. The American and Horseshoe falls can be best seen from the Canadian side of the river, so the city has one of the world's major tourist attractions. The natural spectacle attracts millions of tourists yearly.
This area, which stretches along the Niagara Parkway and tourist promenade, is particularly concentrated at the brink of the falls. Apart from the river's natural attractions, it includes observation towers, high-rise hotels, souvenir shops, casinos and theatres, mostly with colourful neon billboards and advertisements, and sufficient parking to accommodate visitors. Further to the north or south, golf courses are operated alongside historic sites from the War of 1812.
Niagara Falls Ontario Canada - View From Promenade & Hornblower Boat Cruise
Niagara Falls consists of American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls & Horseshoe Falls with Luna Island and Goat Island separating them. From Ontario side the best place to see all the three falls would be from Niagara promenade. We started our journey from Oakvile and reached the Niagara city parking lot close to I Max in less than an hour. The views are recorded from Skylon base, the bridge on top of road leading to Niagara promenade and from various locations on Promenade. Post lunch recordings are from Maid of the Mist ( Hornblower ) top deck. The other locations on Ontario side for tourists to see the Niagara Falls are from Skylon Tower, Casino Tower, Sheraton on the Falls and Skywheel. On American side portions of Niagara falls can be seen from Luna Island, Goat Island, Prospect Point Observation Tower and Cave of the winds. Tourists from both the countries can see all the three falls from close proximity is by taking the Maid of the Mist cruise ( actually it is called Hornblower Cruise from Canada side) through Niagara river which forms the boundary between Canada and USA. NO COLOR ENHANCEMENT HAS BEEN DONE FOR THIS VIDEO.

Niagara Falls || Ontario || Canada || Beautiful Location
Niagara Falls, Ontario, is a Canadian city at the famous waterfalls of the same name, linked with the U.S. by the Rainbow Bridge.
The three falls are part of the Niagara River, which forms the U.S./Canada border all the way from the city of Niagara Falls up to Lake Ontario. American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are on the American side of the border, and Horseshoe Falls is on the Canadian side. Bridal Veil Falls is much narrower than the other two. Just a small gap separates it from American Falls, so many people don't even realize that the two falls are separate. The waterfalls are 170 to 180 feet tall, but Horseshoe Falls is more than twice as wide as American Falls.
Several islands sit in the river near the falls. The largest, Goat Island, actually adjoins the American and Canadian falls. It's accessible by car and has picnic areas, viewing areas and a restaurant. Visitors can also cross a footbridge to reach the Three Sisters Islands. The Cave of the Winds attraction is accessible from Goat Island. It's a cave located behind Bridal Veil Falls.
Tourist attractions, including plenty of souvenir shops, have sprung up on both sides of the falls.
Seeing Niagara Falls from the Canadian side requires you to cross the border. It's easy enough to do, provided you're carrying a valid passport or other acceptable ID for crossing into Canada. The Rainbow Bridge connects the two countries, and its entrance is part of the Niagara Falls complex.
Once you pass through customs, head to the Table Rock Welcome Centre. It's located directly across from Horseshoe Falls and offers great views with no admission fee. Kids will enjoy Niagara's Fury, a 4D attraction that shows how the falls were formed. Visitors can also buy a ticket for Journey Behind the Falls, which is similar to the Cave of the Winds experience. Unlike Cave of the Winds, Journey Behind the Falls is open year-round.
Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
At the outflow of Lake Erie into Lake Ontario and a 90 minute drive from Toronto, the natural wonder of Niagara Falls is one of the most famous places on earth, and about half of it lies in Canada. With its thunderous curtain of cascading waters that you can see from beside, on top or even from underneath, the incredible uniqueness and panoramic beauty of Niagara Falls are two of the main reasons why most visitors hop aboard the Maid of the Mist boat to ride right up close to the action.
Downtown Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada

Niagara Falls, Ontario, is a Canadian city at the famous waterfalls of the same name, linked with the U.S. by the Rainbow Bridge. Its site on the Niagara River's western shore overlooks the Horseshoe Falls, the cascades' most expansive section.
Elevators take visitors to a lower, wetter vantage point behind the falls. A cliffside park features a promenade alongside 520-ft.-high Skylon Tower with an observation deck.
3 Days trip to Toronto And Niagara Falls from Montreal
Niagara fall is so beautiful and memories are mesmerising. We spend one full day at niagara falls. As we did not go by a car and we have a kid, one day was not enough. we missed to see other attractions. And even if you do have a car, parking is far away from waterfall. Though you can save travel time from Montreal to Toronto and Toronto to Niagara falls.
Our plan :
We booked Megabus online.
Timings: Montreal to Toronto - 6.30am to 12.10pm.
We reached at 1pm. After having dinner, went to the CN Tower at 2pm(by Uber). They don't have a locker room to put our luggage. Ripley's aquarium has a locker room for $5, so you can see both attraction in one day. put luggage in Aquarium's locker room and then go see CN Tower after that aquarium and leave for niagara falls or stay in Toronto and leave early morning for niagara falls.
Toronto to Niagara falls - 4.30pm to 6.40pm (same day)
We reached to niagara falls at 7.50pm. The hotel we booked was given to other visitors as we don't reach on time. (confirm with them if you are reaching late). There were plenty of hotels available(friday night) and with cheap rates compares to our booked one. After check-in and dinner, took a rest for 1 hour and left to visit waterfall. There is Falls illumination (lighting) over waterfalls all till 1am/2am.
Next day: (schedule of every rides and attractions depends on summer and winter)
we collected adventure pass. It includes Hornblower cruise, niagara's fury, journey behind the falls, white water walk and 2 day WEGO access. You can book online and go to the Niagara parks welcome centre to collect the passes or buy it on the spot. There are other attractions too like indoor waterpark, casino niagara, niagara parks, niagara golf course, niagara on the lake wine country tour, helicopter tour of niagara falls, bird kingdom, zipline to the falls, airocar, niagara falls history museum, Niagara on the lake etc.
Attractions we covered:
1. Hornblower cruise - First cruise starts at 8 am.if you reach before 10/11am, there will be less waiting time. After we headed to see niagara's fury and journey behind the falls by WEGO bus or 15/20 min walk.
2. Niagara's fury - Ancient history of niagara falls with cartoon characters.
3. Journey behind the falls - There are 2 observation deck, upper and lower. And 2 tunnels/caves behind the waterfall. You will feel constant rumble of thunder and will get wet so careful with camera.
After dinner, we headed to see -
4. Skylon tower by WEGO bus in the evening. We saw day and night view of niagara falls.
After that we went to the hotel. Took a rest for 2 hours and left for Clifton hill(open till 1/2/3am) by WEGO bus.
5. SkyWheel
6. Dinosaur golf course
There are so many activities like : ZOMBIE ATTACK, WILD WEST COASTER 6D THEATRE RIDE, MOVIELAND WAX MUSEUM, DINOSAUR GOLF/WIZARD GOLF, GHOST BLASTER and much more.
Next day morning : Niagara falls to Toronto - 11.15am to 1.20pm (we reached at 2pm)
After lunch went to the aquarium at 3pm. Dumped our luggage in locker room at $5.

Niagara Falls - Canada, USA HD Travel Channel
The Niagara Falls, arguably the most spectacular natural wonders of Canada are located at the border between the U.S. state of New York and the Canadian province of Ontario, about 130 km from Toronto. Approximately 4,000 cubic meters per second rush 52 in depth. The crescent-shaped Horseshoe Falls are about 792 m, the straight American Falls about 363 m long.
From the Skylon tower you have a fantastic view on the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the casino area. You can see the Maid of the Mist approaching the danger area.
Every second attempt to cruise the falls with tons or boats ended fatally. October 2003, a probably suicidal man threw himself into the Horseshoe Falls, but contrary to his intention he survived with only minor injuries. It was probably the first time anyone overmasters the falls without aids
In the extreme cold wave in January 1936 ice barrier, several hundred meter wide blocked the flow of water for several hours. This was the only known time that the falls were free of water due to natural causes.
Every year millions of people visit the falls.

Welcome Center Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls Canadian side by the visitor centre
A short video from my vacation in Canada next to the amazing Niagara Falls visitor centre, thanks for watching!
Journey Behind The Falls in Niagara Falls, Ontario
The Journey Behind The Falls attraction in Niagara Falls, Ontario is entered from the Table Rock Centre at the edge of the Horseshoe Falls.
An elevator takes visitors down 45 metres or 150 feet. From that point, there is an observation platform that takes visitors right next to the base of Horseshoe Falls. There is also a tunnel that takes visitors 150 feet behind the waterfall. Along this tunnel, there are two portals that provide an amazing view of the rushing mass of water behind the waterfall.
The current tunnels were cut in 1944 and the observation platform was added in 1951. Formerly, the attraction was named the Scenic Tunnels - the name change came in 1994.
