Oh Kalimantan is a song, written by Stefan, Sebastian (Les Bummms Boy) and Angula, in the last day of Orangutan Tour 3d2n in Tanjung Puting National Park, Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo. It was an wonderful journey spent time with them. We visited Camp Leakey, Pondok Tanggui and Tanjung Harapan for Orangutans, and many seen in the river banks. They are nice guys, talkative, easy going, expressive and happy boys. We never left every second but singing-an whisper sing for many beautiful creation, nature and wildlife. To have detail info about this video, please visit
Orangutan Tour we provided is not only an holiday, but an special vacation preferred to say a smart travel in understanding human evolution. Orangutan, the great ape in Asia which only live in Sumatra and Borneo island shares 97 % of DNA with us. Maybe that’s why the Malay give them name orangutan. Orang means man and utan means forest, so Orangutan is man of the forest. Orangutan Guided Eco Tour will guide you to find the facts how similar we are to them. They are very smart in using things as a tool. Female has menstruation cycles, 9 month pregnancy, breast feeding, and also nurture its baby.
We will visit 3 Orangutan feeding station. NO TOUCHING. NO TALKING!!! ONLY BREATHING ALLOWED.
Starting from Pangkalan Bun to Kumai, then Cruising with”kelotok” into the river laid on the legendary old rainforest, we will have chance to see any exotic animals. Proboscis Monkey –big nose and fatty bellied- which is an endemic primate in Borneo. Crab eating monkey (Macaca fascicularis) is quite easy to see in the river banks. Sundaic-silvered Langur, Red-leaf Monkey and Pig-tailed monkey are other exotic primates that can be seen, even though not always. There are also many kind of beautiful birdlife, especially Hornbill. Crocodiles and monitor lizards often seen busking in the river banks. Walking deeply into the Borneo Forest, we will have any possibilities to see amazing creature of plants and blossoming flowers. If you still have time and willing to do a night trekking, in a very lucky night, you may see the smallest primate in the world: Tarsier.
We offer wildlife experiences, especially to see PRIMATE

During Christmas we did a 3 day jungle tour in Borneo.
We stayed on a houseboat and visited 3 different orangutan feeding stations, where you can see wild and semi-wild orangutans.
The tour was located in Kumai, Kalimantan the Indonesian part of Borneo.
We did the tour with the tour operator Orangutan Applause.
