Oregon Undersea Gardens - Newport Oregon
I filmed this back in 1999 at the Oregon Undersea Gardens located in Newport Oregon. This was filmed on a Sony Handycam Hi8. The video was transferred from the camera to a Lite-On DVD Recorder. Sorry about the low audio track. I will try to edit the audio track at a later time.
The sound is muted till after 0:28 The show starts at 4:32.
If you will be in the Newport Oregon area the Oregon Undersea Gardens, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and The Wax Works are places you may want to visit.

Road Trip from SLC to the Oregon Coast, May 2016
Road trip from Salt Lake City to the Oregon Coast.
Day 1: Columbia River/Historic Columbia River Highway (Hike at Horsetail Falls, Ponytail Falls and Oneonta Falls, stopping to view Multnomah Falls, a stop at Guy W. Talbot State Park to see Latourell Falls, and Vista House at Crown Point). Astoria, Oregon for the start of our drive down the coast.
Day 2:
Astoria to Cannon Beach, Three Capes Scenic Drive (Cape Meares, Cape Lookout hikes and Cape Kiwanda with Pelican Brewery).
Day 3: Highway 101 to Newport Oregon, Oregon Dunes, Eugene, Willamette National Forest and McKenzie River, to Bend Oregon.
Day 4: Bend Oregon to Idaho - stop at Shoshone Falls.
Digging for clams in Oregon. How and where to catch giant clams during low tide
I went clamming again on the Oregon coast, and I caught some of the biggest clams ever. This time, I used a garden rake to dig for clams. The best time to go clamming is during a low tide (especially a negative tide where the mud flats will expose the clams for easy digging). The cockles we found were about 2-3 inches below surface underwater, many were right on the surface, and you can see them easily.
Clamming season is open year round in Oregon.
Beach Trip to Newport, OR.
Took a short vacation to the beach at Newport Oregon with my lovely girlfriend. Decided to make a short but sweet video of the trip. I hadn't really had a chance to use my new Canon 6D or my DJI Ronin Gimbal before this so please don't judge too harshly because as with all things, it will get better with practice. Either way I had a both on the trip and learning to use my new equipment.

August 23, 2017 - I'm camped at South Beach State Park in Newport, Oregon, on Oregon's famed coast. I need to take a trip into town to run some errands, but first I take a tour of the campground and park on the Honda CB500F.
