Biei Town, Hokkaido 北海道美瑛町・四季彩の丘 with drone
I shot this last summer with my Mavic Pro @ Shikisai No Oka in Biei Town, Hokkaido.
Since it was really hot in last summer, flowers were not colored very well, but still, it was beautiful and worth to visit.
北海道美瑛町にある「四季彩の丘」をMavic Proで撮影しました。
朝７時から開園まで、指定された金額を支払えば撮影ができます。
この日はほかに誰もいなかったので貸切状態でした。
撮影は去年の夏。
この年は気温が高く、花の色付きがあまり良くなかったそうです。
また訪れた時はちょうど花の植え替えの時期で、
何も咲いていない場所もありました。
それでも、どこまでも続く花畑の景色はとても美しく雄大で、
訪れた甲斐があったと思わされるものでした。
今回は地上絵なしの空撮映像のみで変化に乏しかったため、
歌入りBGMにしてみました。

Yuki The Talking Shiba Inu
UPDATE: Roxanne is now living in Minneapolis St Paul area and is reestablishing herself as a dog trainer out there. She has Yuki with her. I won't be posting more Yuki videos. I will post some of Tenshi at some point when things settle down. She's working on her website and will be posting more Yuki videos and start posting training videos soon. :-) James

This is a series of video clips showing some of Yuki's tricks. She is a Shiba Inu. My ex-wife Roxanne and I spent a lot of time working with her every day. I taught her some words and phenoms. She greets me at the door with a Hello, Redrum is another of her words. She also demonstrates Exorcist where she throws her head around in a circle; and Stick Em Up & Spread Em where she puts her hands in the air and then goes spread eagle against a wall.

Shiba's tend to be a bit troublesome socially, and they are known to be cat like (they don't like to listen).
Originally intended as a temp video to show some friends the things we taught Yuki, but ti became popular so I left it up. It remains up to help Roxanne promote her dog training business in Mn.

4K 薩摩長崎鼻灯台 Nagasakihana lighthouse, Kagoshima Kyushu JAPAN
The cape is located the southernmost tip of the Satsuma Peninsula, Kagoshima.
The lighthouse is not very big. But the view of the coast and the mount Kaimon breathtaking.
Ryugu Shrine 龍宮神社 is located at Nagasakihana 長﨑鼻. Nagasakihana is said to be the birthplace of The Legend of Urashima Taro who saved a turtle, it took him to Ryugu-jo, the Palace of the Dragon 竜宮城. Sea turtles come to lay eggs on the beach near this place, and local people love them as the protective god of the sea.
This shrine is becoming popular as a power spot of matchmaking and good fortune in love.
There are shells in a big pot. It is said that if you write your wish on a shell and dedicate it, your wish will be granted.
However, the view from this landscape as well as the view of the opposite coast of the Osumi Peninsula is worth a visit.

DYA717 Air & Sea Sapporo Ice & Snow Festival Tour Feb 11, 2016
Feb 11 – Today is the first full day with the Air & Sea tour. Breakfast at 7 a.m. Had NATTO so of course I going say was one nice spread. At 9 a.m. we went catch da bus and went 15 minutes to da Odori site. ON da bus, da guide said last night after all the flights landed, they stopped outgoing flights because of the snow. 500 folks got stranded and because all the hotels were booked, they slept over night at the airport. AUWE! How junk!
OK, back to Odori site, you supposed to walk around counter-clockwise for 8 blocks or so one way and then back. Wow, the way was slippery and I was slipping and sliding along the way. Can get hurt that way. Lots of good eating booths all up and down dat strip. Hope my pictures does justice to my statement. Actually, I think it might be better if we could view these at night time since my photos didn’t have enough conrast to make the carving details to stand out. Today is the last day to view the sculptures. After this they are gonna demolish dem buggahs! AUWE end of snow festival!
We had lunch at a buffet place. Nothing exciting, something just to tidy us over until dinner. Drove around 1.5 hours to Lake Shikotsu, one of two deep Hokkaido lakes which don’t freeze over during winters. They have their own ice festival. The building ice houses and spray lake waters over them. They also spray lake waters over bushes/trees and create tunnels. Neat! The lake water, having glacial properties, give the ice a blue tint. Hope you can see it in da pictures. In one of the background shots, you’ll see a mountain with a flat-top dome in the distance. It is one of many active volcanoes in Japan.
Then back 1.5 hours to Sapporo to the DEN restaurant, another buffet but this time with 3 kine crabs – all you can eat. I like crabs but to me they stink and you gotta use your fingers so I ate other kinds of stuffs. All the beer, wine, sake you can drink was part of the meal. Then back to da hotel.
