LONDON WALK | Oxford Street at Christmas - Tottenham Court Road to Oxford Circus | England
A first-person perspective London walk tour of the Oxford Street at Christmas 2017 from Tottenham Court Road to Oxford Circus.
See all the sights as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person!) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring Oxford Street at Christmas including the bauble Christmas lights on the eastern end of the street. The route begins on the corner of Tottenham Court Road, then travels west along Oxford Street, ending at Oxford Circus.
Sights seen along the tour include Centre Point, Dominion Theatre, Tottenham Court Road Station, Christmas lights and decorations, and many stores (including The Gift Shop, M&S, Uniqlo, H&M, Boots, Aldo, JD, Miss Selfridge, Nike Town).
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!
Footage recorded November 2017.

Oxford Street Christmas Lights 2019 “Switch-On Event” ✨ Walking London at Night
A first-person perspective festive London walk tour at the Oxford Street Christmas Lights Switch-On Event 2019, which was advertised as 5pm-10pm, but unfortunately the lights were turned on prior to this (so I couldn't film the switch-on), and there were no on-street countdown or celebrations - which was a shame as 2019 marked 60 years of Oxford Street's festive displays, with brand new lights this year made up of 27 LED light curtains with 220,000 individual lights.
As there were no actual celebrations, we instead take a walk along both sides of the whole of Oxford Street (as well as in the centre at some points), from the Marble Arch end (to the west) to the Tottenham Court Road end (to the east), and then back again, passing through Oxford Circus twice, as well as looking at a few festive store window displays.

Places to see in ( London - UK ) Oxford Street
Places to see in ( London - UK ) Oxford Street
Oxford Street is a major road in the City of Westminster in the West End of London, running from Marble Arch to Tottenham Court Road via Oxford Circus. Oxford Street is Europe's busiest shopping street, with around half a million daily visitors, and as of 2012 had approximately 300 shops. Oxford Street is designated as part of the A40, a major road between London and Fishguard, though Oxford Street is not signed as such, and traffic is regularly restricted to buses and taxis.
Oxford Street was originally a Roman road, part of the Via Trinobantina between Essex and Hampshire via London. Oxford Street was known as Tyburn Road through the Middle Ages and was once notorious as a street where prisoners from Newgate Prison would be transported towards a public hanging. Oxford Street became known as Oxford Road and then Oxford Street in the 18th century, and began to change character from a residential street to commercial and retail purposes by the late 19th century, also attracting street traders, confidence tricksters and prostitution. The first department stores in Britain opened on Oxford Street in the early 20th century, including Selfridges, John Lewis and HMV. Unlike nearby shopping streets such as Bond Street, it has retained an element of downmarket street trading alongside more prestigious retail stores. The street suffered heavy bombing during World War II, and several longstanding stores including John Lewis were completely destroyed and rebuilt from scratch.
Despite competition from other shopping centres such as Westfield Stratford City and the Brent Cross shopping centre, Oxford Street remains in high demand as a retail location, with several chains hosting their flagship stores on the street, and has a number of listed buildings. The annual switching on of Christmas lights by a celebrity has been a popular event since 1959. However, the combination of a very popular retail area and a main thoroughfare for London buses and taxis has caused significant problems with traffic congestion, safety and pollution. Various traffic management schemes have been proposed by Transport for London, including a ban on private vehicles during daytime hours on weekdays and Saturdays, and improved pedestrian crossings.
The New West End Company, formerly the Oxford Street Association, is a group that oversees stores and trade along the street; its objective is to make the place safe and desirable for shoppers. The Tottenham is a Grade II* listed public house at No. 6 Oxford Street, near Tottenham Court Road. It was built in the mid-19th century and is the last remaining pub in the street, which once had 20. The London College of Fashion has an Oxford Street campus, which is on John Prince's Street near Oxford Circus. The college is part of the University of the Arts London, formerly the London Institute.
Oxford Street is served by many major bus routes and by four tube stations of the London Underground. From Marble Arch eastwards, these stations are as follows:
Marble Arch, on the Central line
Bond Street, on the Central line and Jubilee line
Oxford Circus, on the Central line, Bakerloo line and Victoria line
Tottenham Court Road, on the Central line and Northern line
The four stations serve an average of 100 million passengers every year, with Oxford Circus being the busiest. Oxford Street has been ranked as the most important retail location in Britain and the busiest shopping street in Europe.
( London - UK) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of London . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in London - UK

LONDON WALK | Oxford Street to Carnaby Street | England
A first-person perspective London walk tour of Oxford Street to Carnaby Street.
See all the sights as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person!) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring world-famous Oxford Street and Carnaby Street. The route starts outside Tottenham Court Road Station, moving west along Oxford Street, before cutting through Argyll Street and part of Great Marlborough Street, then finally travelling down the whole of Carnaby Street.
Sights seen along the tour include London’s red double-decker buses (New Routemaster), shops along Europe’s busiest shopping street, and fashion boutiques of Carnaby Street.
And in each video I've hidden a blinking eye, can you spot it? (It could appear more than once). In addition to the blinking eye, I've also added the Watched Walker logo to various scenes–it could be on buildings, vehicles or any other objects, so keep an eye out for it too!

TRIP TO LONDON, OXFORD STREET, CENTRAL LONDON, OXFORD STREET IN LONDON
TRIP TO LONDON, OXFORD STREET, CENTRAL LONDON, OXFORD STREET IN LONDON
London Listeni/ˈlʌndən/ is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames in the south east of Great Britain, London has been a major settlement for two millennia. It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium.London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) medieval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms Greater London, note 1] a region of England governed by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. The conurbation also covers two English counties: the small district of the City of London and the county of Greater London. The latter constitutes the vast majority of London, though historically it was split between Middlesex (a now abolished county), Essex, Surrey, Kent and Hertfordshire.
London is a leading global city, with strengths in the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism, and transport all contributing to its prominence.[It is one of the world's leading financial centresand has the fifth-or sixth-largest metropolitan area GDP in the world depending on measurement.[note London is a world cultural capital. It is the world's most-visited city as measured by international arrivalsand has the world's largest city airport system measured by passenger traffic.[ London is one of the world's leading investment destinations, hosting more international retailers and ultra high-net-worth individuals than any other city. London's 43 universities form the largest concentration of higher education institutes in Europe, and a 2014 report placed it first in the world university rankings. According to the report London also ranks first in the world in software, multimedia development and design, and shares first position in technology readiness. In 2012, London became the first city to host the modern Summer Olympic Games three times. The etymology of London is uncertain.[50] It is an ancient name, found in sources from the 2nd century. It is recorded c.121 as Londinium, which points to Romano-British origin.[50] The earliest attempted explanation, now disregarded, is attributed to Geoffrey of Monmouth in Historia Regum Britanniae. This had it that the name originated from a supposed King Lud, who had allegedly taken over the city and named it Kaerlud

LONDON WALK | Oxford Street Christmas Lights and Xmas Window Displays | England
A first-person perspective London walk tour of the Oxford Street Christmas Lights (including baubles and advent calendar themed lights), as well as Xmas Window Displays of the Major Department Stores.
Experience all of the sights and sounds as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person!) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of London, featuring Oxford Street’s department stores’ Xmas window displays, and Christmas lights, promoting the NSPCC Light Up Christmas for Children, sponsored by Sky. The route begins at Oxford Circus, then travels west along Oxford Street towards Marble Arch, with the tour concluding after Selfridges.
Sights seen along the tour include Marks & Spencer (with Moz the Monster window display), House of Fraser, Debenhams, Boots, Disney, His Master’s Voice, JD, GAP, French Connection, and Selfridges & Co. department store’s Christmas window display.

Explore Oxford Street - London: Travel Video Guide
Oxford Street is a one and a half mile of unrivalled shopping experience. This world-famous road includes 300 stores, several department stores, international and British brand names and plenty of restaurants and cafes. You could spend a whole day walking up and down this street.
SHOPPING ON OXFORD STREET IN LONDON! // PRIMARK, LUSH, CHIPOTLE, TK MAXX..
I had a lovely visit to Oxford St. in London. I grabbed some Chipotle before spending hours shopping in Primark, TK Maxx, Lush and other stores. I met some fellow YouTubers and had a great chat about VidCon, making videos, and Disney. I ended my night exploring Shepard's Market where my Airbnb is located.
