Arkansas Folk Singer Carolyn Carter is one of the premier musicians in the Ozark Region. She regularly performs for the Ozark Folk Center and for events in the Mountain View area. She began singing and playing music as a very small child in Arkansas. Like many folk and gospel singers, her music began with songs she learned in church. She wrote her first songs as a teenager. Carolyn continued singing as a young mom while raising three children during which she won The Marlboro Country Music Contest. She decided to stay home and raise her children instead of touring the country. She now lives with her husband and most fervent supporter, Jeff Carter, in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Twang is an all-girl string band, which is the latest traditional music inspiration of Mountain View, Arkansas, Folk music capital of the world. This young and energetic group is the newest singing sensation and range in ages from 10 years to 12 years old. They sprang from the renowned Music Roots instructional program which is available to them beginning in elementary school. Their command of their instruments is far beyond their tender years, and they have a dynamic and natural stage presence, which thrills every audience by their performances. For the last two years, Twang has captivated audiences at regional shows, bluegrass festivals, private booking as well as local churches and has amazed audiences with their harmonic ballads, old-time, bluegrass and gospel tunes. Twang is a contract staff band at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View, Arkansas, and they perform frequently during the months of April through October.

More Than A Name On A Wall - Jimmy Fortune (Cover by The Petersens)
Growing up in the United States Air Force was an amazing experience for the four of us. We moved all over the country and met so many honorable men and women willing to sacrifice their lives for our freedom. We watched our dad go overseas many times and were blessed to always have him return home, but not everyone is as fortunate. To these families, we dedicate this song, More Than A Name On A Wall.

Patsy Cline
Virginia Patterson Hensley (September 8, 1932 – March 5, 1963), known professionally as Patsy Cline, was an American country music singer. Part of the early 1960s Nashville sound, Cline successfully crossed over to pop music. She died in a multiple fatality crash of her private plane at the age of 30. She was one of the most influential, successful and acclaimed female vocalists of the 20th century.
Cline was best known for her rich tone, emotionally expressive and bold contralto voice and her role as a country music industry pioneer. Along with Kitty Wells, she helped pave the way for women as headline performers in the genre. Cline was cited as an inspiration by singers in several genres. Books, movies, documentaries, articles and stage plays document her life and career.
