Deuxième réalisation sur le parc Pairi Daiza suite à la première vidéo qui a rencontré un succès inattendu auprès de la communauté du parc mais aussi par la publication de la page du parc sur facebook.
Je ne pouvais pas m'arrêter en si bon chemin, c'est pour cela que j'ai tout rechargé, j'ai pris mes boitiers, 8 boites de spaghettis bologneses, 5 sandwich, au moins 25 L d'eau et sodas et me revoici !

Pairi Daiza signifie, en vieux persan, « jardin clos ». Il s’agit de la plus ancienne dénomination jamais donnée au « paradis ». Dès lors, quel plus beau nom que celui-là pour vous accueillir, chers visiteurs, dans notre Jardin extraordinaire ? Un jardin de 55 hectares, rêvé au pied des ruines de l’abbaye cistercienne de Cambron, et protégé du monde extérieur par un mur de trois kilomètres de long. Entrez… oubliez vos soucis et laissez-vous toucher par ce que vous allez voir. Par la nature, d’abord, avec ses arbres séculaires, ses fleurs si belles, ses plantes luxuriantes venues du bout du monde. Par les trésors d’architecture et d’artisanat, tous authentiques, réalisés par ces hommes aux doigts d’or venus de Chine, d’Indonésie, de Thaïlande,… Laissez-vous toucher par nos 5.000 animaux qui vivent ici en harmonie.

Sunday, 14th of July 2019 . My dear host family invited me to go with them to Pairi Daiza Zoo and Botanical Garden. It is located in Brugelette in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. It is a home to over 4,000 animals.
I wasn’t able to make a proper vlog because there were many people , and also I just wanted to enjoy the moment with my host family. But I have here some short clips.
This place is really worth a visit.

A beautifull Zoo and the animals are well taken care of as far as we can judge.
We had a nice day, ended it with some great vietnamese food at Le Petit Fric and a nice cold beer at a local bar in Mons.

Pairi Daiza has been elected Best Zoo in Europe. It's a beautiful park, divided in areas that cover the whole world, from China and Indonesia, to Australia and Africa!
You will need a whole day to visit the park, because it's huge!
In 2017 I accepted the challenge to visit all 589 Belgian muncipalities. In this video I visit the municipality of Brugelette. If you're Belgian or visiting Belgium, it's a place to put on your Belgian bucket list!

Twin baby pandas make their debut at Belgium zoo
(14 Nov 2019) TWIN BABY PANDAS MAKE THEIR DEBUT AT BELGIUM ZOO
A naming ceremony was held at Pairi Daiza Zoo in Belgium on Thursday (14 NOV. 2019) for two twin pandas to mark 100 days since they were born.
A female panda, known as 'Bao Mei' and a male panda known as 'Bao Di,' were named in keeping with Chinese tradition.
The ceremony was attended by the Chinese ambassador to Belgium, Cao Zhongming and the zoo's president.
Bao Mei means 'little sister of Tian Bao' and Bao Di means 'little brother of Tian Bao,' who was born in Pairi Daiza on June 2 2016.
Their names were chosen out of 73,000 votes.
The baby pandas are cared for 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Pairi Daiza (formerly Paradisio) is a privately owned 55-hectare (140-acre) zoo and botanical garden located in Brugelette in the province of Hainaut in Belgium. The zoo is located on the site of the former Cistercian Cambron Abbey, and is home to over 4,000 animals.
Pairi Daiza is owned and operated by Pairi Daiza Belgium SA, a limited company listed on NYSE Alternext Brussels (code: PARD). It is a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), and participates in the European Endangered Species Programme (EEP).
Naissance d'un panda géant à Pairi Daiza - LZDB
Le jeudi 2 juin 2016 à 2h02 précisément, un bébé panda géant est né au parc Pairi Daiza (Brugelette). Il s'agit du premier petit pour Hao Hao, la femelle arrivée en février 2014 au parc, en compagnie de Xing Hui le mâle.
Rappelez-vous : il y a quelques mois, une équipe chinoise spécialisée dans l'insémination artificielle a rejoint les équipes de Pairi Daiza afin d'inséminer Hao Hao. Cela a été une réussite.
Le petit reste très fragile dans les premiers mois de sa vie. En effet, les chances de survie d'un bébé panda sont de 50%. Pour le moment, il n'a pas encore de nom mais est en bonne santé. Il restera au parc jusqu'à l'âge de 4 ans.
