First time in awhile I've done a video on a roller coaster :P This was from yesterday at Old Orchard Beach in Maine, and this is a brand new Roller Coaster that just opened this Summer. It's pretty fun and I think it's better than the old coaster they used to have in this area. :)

Power Surge off-ride 4K Palace Playland
These Zamperla Power Surge rides have six fixed arms that are connected in an asterisk pattern, with two sets of two rotating seats attached at right angles to the arms. The entire arm assembly spins as the main arm is raised to an angle of approximately 70°. First produced by the company in 1999, they come in both trailer-mounted and park versions and are fairly common attractions that can be found at parks and fun fairs the world over.

July 15, 2017 - I'm heading back to Montreal from Portland, Maine today - but taking a bit of a detour to start the day. My first stop is an old vacation spot my Dad went to as a kid back in the day: the seaside town of Old Orchard Beach.
I got here well before the action started today, but it was great all the same - a nice, peaceful, relaxing morning with nothing but the sand, the waves, and a few seagulls scavenging about.
I've seen the open ocean (or some major body of salt water) virtually every day on this Maritime adventure, and I'm still not sick of seeing the ocean. I can't not appreciate that.
