I didn't know what to expect when I went parasailing with YOLO Adventures. I certainly did not expect how peaceful and relaxing it would be flying high up over the gulf shores off Bradenton Beach.
It was a blast and I smiled the whole time. The captain and crew kept us laughing. It didn't help that my wife stated she was afraid of the sharks (there were none).
She also didn't want to be dipped, but she is glad that they did dip us. Even though the captain did threaten to put is into the floating sea grass.
It was more than I expected. We were only up in the air for about 12 minutes, but it felt like well over a half hour, that should tell you how peaceful and relaxing it is.
We WILL do it again the next time we are in the area. In fact, whenever we are on the Gulf or Atlantic shore and we have time, we will be parasailing.

A little clip I made for the guys that were so good to us over at Sky's the Limit Parasailing in Marco Island, Florida. Enjoy.
Sunset waterfront flight exploring the Sanibel Island Causeway and Fort Myers Beach. I found a large aggregation of manatees and my first shrimp boat coming back in to port.

Fort Myers Beach to Pine Island, December 2010
Hans Lintner, Jim Yeager, Dominic Vitantonio and Mike Jenovic launching from the south side of Fort Myers Beach en route to the Pine Island Airport during Paul Czarnecki's 2010 Christmas/New Year's Fly-in videotaped by Lenny Czerr. All pilots powered by Fresh Breeze Simonini 122s. Hans flying Lenny's Sky Atis 2, Jim flying a Sky Brontes, Dominic flying a Silex, and Mike flying a Dudek Plasma. We launched approximately 45 minutes before sunset and made it to the Pine Island Airport with plenty of time to spare. We had a downwind component and our ground speed was in excess of 35 MPH. Great fly-in, Paul, and thanks for having us. It was a welcome respite from the wind and snow in Cleveland.
