G Request Entertainment is a registered Irish company which was founded in 2005. Our main aim is to promote Irish musicians and help creative people in showcasing their talents on television.
During 2005, we decided to set up a program in Tramore, Co. Waterford. What encouraged us to develop this community program, was that we thought Tramore was such a quiet place and there were little social activities offered for the youth within community development at the weekends. We thought that by offering a social event every weekend it would help benefit the community.
Our activities and the shows we organized were able to bring both the Irish and the migrants of the community together and furthermore helped to enhance the cultural interests between the two different cultures through entertainment.
In 2006 we thought of the possibility of expanding it into a nationwide program due to the encouragement and positive feedback from the public in response to our programs, hence we have travelled to sixteen counties within Ireland portraying our ideas.
To date, we have achieved our main aim, to be able to broadcast our program on Sky platform and also be able to achieve our permanent production resident studio that includes a live audience, production equipment and professional men and women trained in the field, working with our organization.

God's Little Errand Boys - An Evening with Yanky Fachler at the Irish Jewish Museum (Part 2 of 2)
Published on Jul 11, 2012
In the 2nd Part of his talk to an audience at the Jewish Museum in Dublin, based on his book God's Little Errand Boys, Yanky Fachler shows the uncertainty that surrounded the establishment of the modern State of Israel. His research indicates, that far from being the end product of some imagined Zionist conspiracy involving Lord Balfour, the reality is more sanguine - and as a consequence more interesting to readers of history. Yanky, in his conclusing remarks, highlights a little know support in rural Ireland in the 1840's for Jewish self-determination and aspirations for a return to a historical homeland.

Take a guided tour of... the small Dublin brewery backed by an Irish drinks titan
Not far from the Disneyland of beer production that is the Guinness Storehouse, there's a much more low-key setup.
In a small warehouse in Dublin's south inner city, Five Lamps Brewery has been quietly trying to make its mark on the brewing scene.
Since the company was founded in 2012, it has been acquired by the C&C – the makers of Bulmers.
However, despite being part of a large corporation and likely the target of the cynicism that attracts within the craft scene, the brewer maintains that it stays true to its independent roots.
This week, following on from Fora's look inside the offices of a billion-dollar tech firm and a coffee shop in a corrugated metal container, Five Lamps' head brewer walked us through their beer-making process:
