Patara Elephant Farm - Chiang Mai Thailand Shot with GoPro Black Hero3+
There are many Elephant farms throughout Thailand you can visit, but this one is by far the best! Unlike most other farms, this one treats their elephants with great respect. Their stock have been rescued from either the wild (injured) or taken in from private owners who no longer have a use. The injured ones are treated and released back into the jungles while the ex-privately owned ones are cared for the rest of their lives, if they can't be released.
As a vistor, your really a volunteer elephant owner for a day. Their program has been developed for everyone to learn and interact with elephants as what an owner would do daily.
Its an amazing unforgetable experience and one you should not miss

A DAY AT PATARA ELEPHANT FARM | CHIANG MAI | Taking Care of Elephant for A Day
Patara Elephant Farm offers great elephant experience. This is where you share your love by feeding and taking care of the elephant. They do not have elephant riding, making this place so popular with animal lovers.
At Patara Elephant farm, you will own an elephant for the period you sign up for. No one else will be sharing your elephant. First, they will give you a short briefing on how to interact with the elephants. They will teach you the commanding words that the elephants understand. And amazingly, they do understand. From this place, you will get on a car to the activity area.
After introducing you to your elephant, you will be approaching them along with your basket full of fruits. Do not worry, the basket will not remain full for long. The elephants can lick the basket clean real fast, and before you know it, they will be asking for a second. Thailand is a warm country, and there is nothing better than a dip in the waterfall. Bring you elephants for washing at the waterfall nearby. Prepare your brush, toothbrush and buckets and get ready to wash them clean. There is a pool made on top of the running waterfall and you will get down with them. Continue to do your job by brushing and showering the elephants. Get wet! It's all part of the fun.
This can't end with the most boasted Instagram shot of having the elephants spitting the water as your background, remember them? It's from here, at Patara Elephant Farm. They have their professional photographer with big camera and lenses ready to catch you grand pose. We recommend that you pose elegantly as the elephant showers lines of water on you. It's #forthegram. Finish the trip by riding the elephants back, and do not worry, it's alright for the elephants to ride it that way.

Elephant Nature Park is an elephant rescue and rehabilitation center in Northern Thailand where you can volunteer and visit to help. We have been involved in dozens of rescues which have created our thriving elephant herd. The park provides a natural environment for elephants, dogs, cats, buffaloes and many other animals under our care.
Volunteers and visitors contribute to the healing while learning about their lives past and present. Arrange a visit to all our projects in Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Founded in 1996 by Sangdeaun Lek Chailert, this Elephant Sanctuary now is situated in Chiang Mai Province, Northern Thailand, approximately 60 kilometres from Chiang Mai. The Elephant Sanctuary sits on approximately 250 acres and has elephants that are rescued from work camps and even tourist traps.
This is why we have chosen to visit this Elephant Sanctuary ( Elephant Nature Park ) for our day trip, over many other Elephant Sanctuaries in the region. Sangdeaun Lek Chailert philosophy is based of love and not abuse.

Bangkok Thailand - Elephants Giraffes Lions Leopards & Floating Market!
Hey! Follow us into Bangkok Thailand as we arrive from Osaka. The first day we set out on a private tour, to visit the floating market (Damnoen Saduak). We indulge in some mango sticky rice (must try) right from our boat! We floated around, and then (Tour with Tong) took us to the giraffe and lion/leopard petting zoo. We finished our tour with washing and feeding elephants! Awesome day, and more of Thailand to come!

ELEPHANT TOUR!! BAMBOO RAFTING! CHIANG MAI
hey guys!
let's all play the elephant drinking game: have a shot for every time I say elephant...
but in reality, we did have a great time, couldn't stop smiling, loved every minute of it!
Don't book from the excursion shops as they will put you in a giant group with others which can be stressful for the elephant and isn't as enjoyable. Check with your hotel and state you would like a private tour. Ours was £40 and we couldn't have asked for anything better.
Oh and buy LOTS of bananas as they eat SOOO much!! we had supply our own- just a heads up!
The bamboo tour was just after as an extra, highly recommend it, beautiful scenery and tons of fun!
Thanks for watching! :)

Exploring Chiang Mai (part 1 of 3) HD
My first visit to Chiang Mai courtesy of Tourism Authority of Thailand. From Brunei we took a flight to Bangkok at about 10:55am and arrived at 12:30pm (BKK time). We had to be in transit until the flight to Chiang Mai which is about 5:30pm. There was 3 of us from Brunei, myself, Azlan from Borneo Bulletin and Jenson from United Daily. In transit, we met the Malaysian representatives which comprises of bloggers, journalist and photographers.
The flight to Chiang Mai took anout an hour via Thai Airways. Before checking in to our hotel, we had dinner at Khaomao Khaofang Restaurant. After dinner we checked-in to Eastin Tan Hotel and then explored MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Mall and Nimman Hill which is just across the road.
The next we actually left for Pai so the visit to What Pra That Doi Suthep is actually two days after. We visited the temple straight after we got back from Pai. It is located on Doi Suthep a mountain 1,676 metres (5,499 ft) tall and is one of the twin peaks of a granite mountain located west of Chiang Mai. The temperature was nice and cool and in the winter it goes down to 20 degrees and more.
