Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge - Breckenridge, Colorado
The Marriott Mountain Vally Lodge is one of the best places to stay for ski in ski out. It's an Apartment/condo style Hotel in Breckinridge, Colorado. Its located at the base of Peak 9 in the Rocky mountains. In this video I review our experience there and some tips...like:

Breckenridge is a Colorado town at the base of the Rocky Mountains’ Tenmile Range. It's known for its ski resort, year-round alpine activities and Gold Rush history. The Victorian core of this former mining town is preserved as the Breckenridge National Historic District, running primarily along Main Street, with colorfully painted buildings from the 1880s and '90s housing shops, galleries and restaurants.

The down-to-earth vibe is a refreshing change from Colorado's glitzier resorts, and the family-friendly ski runs and gold-nugget history make it Summit County's most atmospheric destination. Regardless of whether it’s snow or shine, the BreckConnect Gondola up to the base of Peak 8 is where the fun begins.
The vast, hulking mountains here rise and fall, merging seamlessly into one another to present a perfect alpine backdrop. Laced with ski runs and hiking trails and stitched together with pine groves, they blaze gold in the morning, glow pink at dusk and fade into a deep shadowy blue as the sky pales then darkens, revealing endless stars best viewed from a frothing hot tub next to the roaring Blue River.

Peak 9 is finally open for the 2014-2015 ski season. Taking the Beaver Run SuperChair Lift to the top of Peak 9. Skiing down Columbia to Bonanza, then Lower American to Wellington and past the Mercury SuperChair Lift. Cutting over on Red Rover down past the Peak 8 SuperConnect Lift on Sundown and finishing at the base of Beaver Run.
