The US Virgin Islands are America's paradise, offering an easygoing blend of island ways and American practicality. St. Thomas, capital of the island group, offers every imaginable sport: snorkeling, golfing, hiking, and sailing. Just a few miles away lay St. John and Virgin Islands National Park. Stunning mountain scenery, crystalline waters, and white-sand beaches with palms swaying in the breeze - the US Virgin Islands are truly a slice of paradise. The harbor is easily one of the Caribbean's most scenic. The United States purchased the Virgin Islands from Denmark for $25 million in gold. St. Thomas has a reputation as a duty free-mecca for shopping.
St. John Scenic Cruise, Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkel
Take a half-day excursion to Trunk Bay in St. John, known as the Emerald of the Caribbean. As one of the most stunning beaches in the Caribbean, Trunk Bay offers the perfect setting to swim, snorkel and relax. Your tour begins as you board a ferry for a cruise to St. John. Upon arriving in the charming town of Cruz Bay, you'll board an open-air safari bus for a scenic drive to Trunk Bay. Be sure to bring your camera, as you'll make three photo stops along the way. Bordered by sea grape trees, coconut palms, and tropical forests, the crystalline blue-green waters of Trunk Bay are teeming with coral reef life. After a short orientation, you'll set out on the famous underwater snorkel trail for over an hour, following markers that describe the many species of fish and corals that make Trunk Bay their home.

GREAT BIRD ISLAND ~ ANCHORAGE ~ ANTIGUA ~ Best UAV Drone Caribbean ~ WeBeYachting.com
This video is of the beautiful anchorage of Great Bird Island. This tiny islet lying almost three kilometers north-east of Antigua. Measuring just 20 acres (81,000 m2), smaller than most city parks, it is the only place on Earth where you can see an Antiguan racer (Alsophis antiguae) in the wild. The entire world population of this snake lives on the island. Named by sailors who were amazed at the number of birds that they found living and nesting there, Great Bird Island is a miniature paradise. As well as being the last refuge of the Antiguan racer, it is also home to a variety of other endangered creatures including the rare lizard Ameiva griswoldi, brown pelicans (Pelecanus occidentalis), West Indian whistling ducks and red-billed tropicbirds (Phaethon aethereus). Luckily for the snake, there are no mongooses on the island, although hundreds of black rats lived there until recently. The island is currently privately owned by an American businessman.
Approach the island in good lighting as the area is maze of shallow reefs.

Antigua Barbuda 2018
Must see: Pillars of Hercules, Stingray City, Devils Bridge, Fort James, Coral Haven at Pelican Beach and Halfmoon Bay. We Chartered a boat to see the Pillars of Hercules and enjoyed some excursions! Highly recommend renting a vehicle to really explore the island and for the scenic ride along fig tree drive. Look out for plantain fields, black pineapple, and free-range cattle!
If you can visit Halfmoon Bay, do it! Half Moon Bay is located in the southeastern corner of Antigua. The pink sand stretches for almost a mile around the curved bay and it is reputably one of Antigua's finest beaches. The Atlantic surf is restrained by a coral reef which allows snorkeling close to the beach and beyond the reef, windsurfers play in the rougher water.
