London Walk: Greenwich Park | Best view in London?【4K】
???? SUBSCRIBE TO 4K EXPLORER FOR NEW VIDEOS EVERY WEEK ????
Greenwich Park is home to what many consider to be one of the bests view in all of Britain.
The walk starts at the top of the hill where the Royal Observatory is situated. This includes the Prime Meridian - the official line which marks the exact point of zero degrees longitude to which Greenwich Mean Time is calibrated.
We take a panoramic view of the Old Royal Naval College with the skyline of Canary Wharf in the background before heading down for a walk in the park itself.

Free-To-Enter Planetarium, Maritime Museum + More at Greenwich London
Day out at Greenwich. All the places visited are free to enter.
We went to the market, around the park, Peter Harrison Planetarium, National Maritime Museum and The Queen's House.
But we missed out the Royal Observatory and Cutty Sark as they cost to enter. Maybe next time.

O MNIE:
Greenwich - the perfect day trip from London
Greenwich, a favorite of Henry Viii, will quickly endear itself to you as well. I suggest a leisurely one-hour boat ride along the River Thames to arrive at your destination. The busy pace of London slows, the crowds thin and beauty amplifies. The Cutty Sark, sequestered behind white sheeting, is being renovated after vandals set it on fire in 2007. It will be ready for its coming out party before the 2012 Olympics. Be sure to visit what was once the old Royal Navy Hospital. Here you will see the Painted Hall (simply breathtaking) and the Queen's chapel. Situated between these two buildings is Inigo Jones' Queen's House and on the hill is the Royal Observatory. Even though the climb to the Royal Observatory is steep, it is more than worth the effort. This is one of Christopher Wren's designs, which are always inspiring. But, more than that, to straddle the Prime Meridian is just plain fun. The original purpose of the Observatory was to establish longitude for ships at sea. Of course, here is GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) where time begins. Explore the exhibits in the Flamstead House and, if you have time, see one of the shows at the Peter Harrison Planetarium.
Other interesting places include the Greenwich Market, open from Wednesday - Sunday. See a life-like statue of Admiral Lord Nelson at Trafalgar Tavern. Grab a bite to eat at The Old Brewery.
Greenwich is small enough that you can walk around and not get lost. People are friendly and will help you with directions or find one of the direction polls (almost on every corner) to guide you as well.
At the end of your stay, just hop aboard the City Cruises boat and leave the driving back to London to them.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! SUMMARY
=======
The Royal Observatory, Greenwich (ROG; known as the Old Royal Observatory from 1957 to 1998, when the working Royal Greenwich Observatory, RGO, moved from Greenwich to Herstmonceux) is an observatory situated on a hill in Greenwich Park, overlooking the River Thames. It played a major role in the history of astronomy and navigation, and is best known for the fact that the prime meridian passes through it, and thereby gave its name to Greenwich Mean Time. The ROG has the IAU observatory code of 000, the first in the list. ROG, the National Maritime Museum, the Queen's House and Cutty Sark are collectively designated Royal Museums Greenwich. The observatory was commissioned in 1675 by King Charles II, with the foundation stone being laid on 10 August. The site was chosen by Sir Christopher Wren. At that time the king also created the position of Astronomer Royal, to serve as the director of the observatory and to apply himself with the most exact care and diligence to the rectifying of the tables of the motions of the heavens, and the places of the fixed stars, so as to find out the so much desired longitude of places for the perfecting of the art of navigation. He appointed John Flamsteed as the first Astronomer Royal. The building was completed in the summer of 1676. The building was often called Flamsteed House, in reference to its first occupant.
The scientific work of the observatory was relocated elsewhere in stages in the first half of the 20th century, and the Greenwich site is now maintained almost exclusively as a museum, although the AMAT telescope became operational for astronomical research in 2018.
