yeah idk we showed up at the 2nd one and it looked amazing but it was trespassing to go there and the river police boyz saw us so we dipped.
We also never jumped off of the top tree root thing because the water was a little shallow for our liking

Parfrey's Glen Gorge Explore Wisconsin Outdoors
Parfey's Glen, located within Devil's Lake State Park, is a Wisconsin DNR designated State Natural Area. The glen is a deep gorge cut through the sandstone of the south flank of the Baraboo Hills.
It was the first State Natural Area to be designated in Wisconsin. The valley was named for Robert Parfrey. The exposed sandstone walls of Parfrey's glen contain pebbles and boulders of embedded Quartzite.
The walls were covered with moss and remained moist from seepage before the 2008 floods, which washed away nearly all vegetation in the glen. This amazing sight remains a tourist spot for many, yet no one else knows of it's shear beauty aside from Wisconsin residents and long time visitors. Thanks for watching, God Bless and Go Wild. From Wikipedia: Pewits Nest State Natural Area is a nature reserve of Wisconsin, USA, that includes a deep gorge formed during the retreat of the last glacier. Pewits Nest is outside of Baraboo in Sauk County. At one time a waterwheel and mill were located on the site and an individual lived in the solid sandstone, like a gnome in a cavern. The name of the site was a result of early settlers calling it Peewit's Nest after the abode, ten feet above a deep pool of water, resembling the nest of a phoebe (or peewit, an earlier name for this bird).
The water-wheel once turned lathes for repairing or manufacturing equipment, but no evidence of it remains. Pewits Nest is owned by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and was designated a State Natural Area in 1985.

Here is a nice little waterfall that is hidden away out of sight from society. After about a 400 foot descent into a valley I was finally at the waterfall! This is one of western Wisconsin's most hidden waterfalls in the state. Waterfalls are a beautiful part of nature, even better when not to many people know where to find them.
Pewit's Nest | Parks and Landmarks
2017 marks the end of an era for Pewit's Nest State Natural Area. This episode of Parks and Landmarks may contain some of the last footage ever recorded before new structures get built. Pewit's Nest unstructured was pretty, but it's probably just as well that the DNR is building a fence. Even Sean almost fell off the cliff trying to get one of these shots.
